Why thank you SO MUCH Lin :)
Quite honestly, it's been a struggle learning and I certainly have made lots of mistakes but I'm really starting to feel encouraged now :)
I have accepted the fact that I'm certainly not a good strep propagator but that's OK as there are LOTS of gessies to choose from *lol*
2 of those 4 graduates posted above have adoptee name of Lin on them :) Would you like me to sneak them into the box with the Compacta? I would be happy to :) I should be able to mail that on Saturday. Hubby is still looking for the perfect box for me :) I think I could wrap them so they would be OK, are you ready for them? Just let me know :)
Lin, I've seen your plants deary.....they are beautiful! You are a FABULOUS grower!

I knew what you mean about losing your posts, Nancy.............I had two long posts this morning to compliment Kim and everyone else who has posted...........and then.............zap...........it was gone forever...............

DG must be having some big problems.............glad I am not a computer wizard or we wouldn't even have a site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The president of our local AV club told she would give me 8 months before I was sick of streps...........that was in the fall and so far................so good............not tired of them yet..........just keep making babies.............

I am doing so well on time.........that I might post a few pictures more.

I still can't grow a decent african violet, so anything with a bloom is going out of here for the Mother's Day Sale...........here are just a few........I don't even know the names of some of them as I grew them all from leaf before someone told me it was important to mark the names (LOL)

Kim, how wonderful to have that plant! I have some nice things from my g.mother that passed away, but I take good care of a wonderful azalea from her. It has done very well and I keep it in a container to have more control over the soil. I now you love your violet and it is a nice way to remember her. Nicknacks and things are wonderful from loved ones, but plants are alive!

Here is my azalea from her. I guess it is about five years I have had it and she has been gone for three. It has grown since I took this photo.

Your g.mother is watching and happy...
