Great - have a good time. I've never been there.
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - Almost May
Me neither.
Say Hi to my brother for me Yank! LOL
I've never been, but hope to go see him someday.
I love Baltimore's Inner Harbor, hadn't been in about 4 years. If it's still there you need to go to The Rusty Scupper....great seafood.
Oh, the best carb cakes I've had were in Havre de Grace, not far from Baltimore. A cute little town on the bay, one summer we went to Atlantic City, then to PA to visit my FIL, and looking at the map, I said we need to stop somewhere between the 2 places for a night. Havre de Grace was it, and we've been back since, and might go again this summer.
Have fun!
Anybody got a recipe for crab cakes?
Have fun on your trip Cat!
There was a news item today about stay at home moms being worth $117,000 in salary. They usually come out with this study every year before Mothers Day. Well seeing as women are still underpaid compared to their male counterparts for the same job by about 10%, I should be worth about $130,000! Much more than I was getting as an engineer. Where do I collect??
You get the love and affection of your family and the admiration of DG, especially the NE forum.
Aw shucks!! Jeepers too. Thanks Pirl!
That is way under pay for the job.
When your children are in their late twenties you will realize it was a job worthwhile and well done.
You sound like a good parent.
Do you do windows?
Victor. You get the same as the underpaid women get. You get to clean up. Hopefully, there will be a hug of appreciation from the family.
There are more important things than money, you know.
(That's what they always told me when the guys got paid twice as much as me).
Yes, I do the windows too, Jo Ann! I'm hoping the kids will take care of me when I'm senile and falling apart. I plan on faking that at an early age...
I need a little pressure wash too.
Good luck on that plan, Victor. Personally, if I had kids, Id rather they go about their business such as being astranauts, or space designers,
or horse breeders, &etc. than be nursemaid to my ol' bones.
Gloria - project runway/ top shef? My wife wife is banished to the bedroom tv (a flat panel no HD) for those and the HD is all mine if I'm not in the yard. Shouldn't you be planning a grarden or flower bed?
Sorry could not resist :)
You Have two wives? Interesting.

Do sports count as a reality show?
Does the news still count?
Why do car dealer commercials have to be stupid?
I really like the Jimmy Dean breakfast food commercials with Mr Sun, etc
Yankee Cat, Have a wonderful trip!
None of the above mentioned are reality shows.
Smoke and Mirrors to sell, sell, sell. Dumb car commercials are for the masses. I like the "Land Rover" (built by the Japanese)adds using old film of the "Range Rover" (designed and built by the Britts) Too funny.
I had a bread and butter job driving a doctor to work, the office car was a Range Rover, hope the Japanese knockoff was a better car.
Very nice, Jo Ann! I think I have seen those in an email. Incredible.
Yes, I saw that. Pretty sick.
hope there is some kind of funfus in the skull that gets to their lungs and stays there for a lifetime.
How stupid can they get?
ge1836. that wolf picture reminds me when my pekingnese decided to attack the weimereiner across the street from us.
Not as equal as those wolves though. that guy looks like he just wanted to see what was down there!
Kids on dope can get pretty stupid. I remember many many years ago of a doped up gang who lifted several tomb stones from the cemetery out into the road. A boy was killed in an accident trying to avoid to tomb stones.
It's 'Almost June', isn't it?
Today is the one year 'anniversary' of my solar electric system being turned on. Generated 6585 kWh in one year. That's well over half my use. I'll know for sure when the next bill comes. My $ savings is even more. (Of course the system has to pay itself off - I'm talking about the monthly savings on the bill vs. before)
Yahhhhh Victor.
My friend who has a windmill ,sells her extra power back to the local power company.
Hmmm. Now I get it. That's what stay-at-home moms/victorgardeners do when they stay at home. Build solar energy systems and wind mills.
YAY!
We might make it yet!
Thanks. It's the same with the solar, Jo Ann. They buy back the power generated that I don't use. I would consider a windmill too if this was a windier location.
Congratulations!
Thanks Cat.
