Is there anyway to tell if Moonflower seeds are viable if they either sink or float when soaking them overnight before planting?
My intuition tells me that seeds that sink are heavier, and therefore are probably more viable, but it's really just a guess.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
seed viability
Can't directly answer your question, but I "soak" my morning glory seeds by folding them up in a damp paper towel, then sealing that in a piece of plastic wrap. Then I put it on top of my cable box for 24 hours (for warmth). Then I check them. Hopefully some will have little root tails, and those are the ones I plant outside.
Thanks, I planted all of them, so I'll see what happens. :-)
