Question about canna

Hi

I have a couple of canna plants that I would like to move. They have started to grow up through the ground. No open leaves yet, still curled. Can they be moved at this point or should I wait. Thanks for any help.

I have moved some of my cannas at the point you describe and they thrived very well. Just be sure you dig well around the roots so you don't cut off any more of them than you have to. Add compost or peat to the new planting hole and keep well watered. Mine even went ahead and bloomed.
