Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Tonight after I watered the garden and came inside I had a Frog Choir start up! They were so loud you could hear them over the air condition and TV! I am soooo tickled!

Beware Mosquito's!! I think the slugs got ate! Whoo hooo!

That's interesting. Maybe that's why we don't have slugs. We have a toad in nearly every flower bed.

Okay... This is where I found out more information about Frogs. I will post this here too. So, after the choir last night , I found this in the pond today. Is it Frog babies?

All the polliwogs I've seen were a light brownish color, but maybe there is a species of frog that has polliwogs that color.

Well good for you, ain't nature wonderful, stops us from spreading poisonous slug killing stuff all over the area, they say, once a frog always have frogs, so take care when you garden so you dont mow them. burn them or poison them, I love it. WeeNel.

Don't look like any "frog babies" I have ever seen. I think someone snuck into your yard and put some goldfish in your pond! :O)

I see goldfish too, but I also see threads of frogs spawn too the long black threads are eggs, as you have already seen the frogs in the garden, then they have babies on the way. good luck, frogs go back to the same place each year to mate and spawn, so you will have them there forever. best wishes. WeeNel and TexasLizzy,

Your eyes are sure better than mine! I can't see the black threads/strands. However, I'll take your word for it. LOL.

I have tadpoles now!! Three days after finding the strings. That was Fast! I had to put in more hiding places, so they could hide from the goldfish!
