Star of Bethlehem?

Canton, GA(Zone 7b)

Hey there. My boyfriend's S-I-L (a florist) suggested a Star of Bethlehem as a pretty good, fragrant plant that can do well inside.

I've been searching for one fitting his description for over a week and can't seem to find it. He said it has like a tight ball/cluster of flowers. I found some, but they weren't like that. I found a pic online (that I can't find now) of a Star of Bethlehem that looked like it could be that, but I can't find what kind it is.

Hmm. ANY help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It seems that there is a Campanula they've recently been selling as a houseplant that might go by that name.

Personally, I disagree that they'd make a good houseplant.
The ones I've seen for sale look nice when they first arrive, but within a week or so they're browning and 'ratty' looking.

The plants that I've seen most frequently called Star of Bethlehem are a couple different species of Ornithogalum. None of them quite fit the description of a ball of flowers though, so I'm not sure., so many people use common names differently. Here are a couple more besides the ones that SemiGreenThumb posted

My first thought on the description of the flower as a tight ball cluster of flowers made me think of a hoya.

I googled Star of Bethlehem Plant and found this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/90134118@N00/470350270/ which looks like a hoya bloom to me.

It is really hard with so many common names, to know for sure without a photo.
