Work party in Q

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Wait till you see my mess. I've been so busy working the plant sale and at St. Andrews. Then there are the two new unhouse trained (didn't know that at first) furries. I'm just letting everything slide until after the 10th of May. Then I get a dental implant. Yahoo! Just like the song "That's Life". Keeps us running.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I will feel right at home, went thew the fur training with Tyler, have a bag of puppy pads if you need them I will bring them when I come out. I am waiting for my new Glasses, going to Trifocals, this is not going to be fun. I have a problem seeing the computer screen, and I need that at work, and here. I have just about set on top of it to see LOL

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

I wore trifocals for years and had no problems. After cataract surgery I went back to bi but next time I change I going with the tri's again. I really like that middle ground. Don't have to sit with your neck at an odd angle. ^_^

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

And I do use puppy pads. I just by the large ones for people. They seem to prefer the rugs. At least they are tiny dogs. LOL

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

LOL know what you mean.
I am hoping to have a work party (paint) on the 3rd or 4th of may do you think you can come?

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I am working in Juneau on the 3rd of may and flying to Seattle on the 4th. So I can stop and recommend trim only. Besides men don't paint. I when I was doing my wedding vows stated "men never paint" just to confirm my abhorrence to painting. Definatly on canvas but only there. Never outside or on a wall.
These are only ideas I got on the internet and not at my house. Lots of weaving of grape vine and other small dec trees.

You are to funny, Laurie sent me a book on weaving willows, just love it But I can not find enough willow branches, to do it, and dont know where to get them. And here I thiught YOU made it LOL Pulling my chain again. ^_^

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

You have to understand that I COULD DO everything but I choose not to. LOL I got these for Ideas after I find grapevine, willow, or what ever I can weave that is long and flexable. I have been looking for any ideas for garden ideas that are unique.

You got to see the book laurie sent me. I will scan a few and send them in dmail LOL. I would love to do it, but like you how has the real time.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Quick go get some grape starts. Vines grow very quickly. Sorry I can't make the painting party. I can't do anything extra until after the plant sale. I'm getting really tired. I'm a very good painter though. Inside and out and one birdhouse and other stuff. But then I'm a woman and can do anything. And do!

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

I think that anyone who applies themselves to what they love can supercede any expectations. Even women. LOL

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

That may not be the date, one I would like but then I have to think of others, who I have not heard from, I want it to be sooner than July, I can not wait that long. Want it Now>>> stamping feet Saying NOW NOW, O my I'm I a poor Pup.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

EEEWWW Steve I take that as a compliment. thank you ' bowing ' (SP)

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I LOVE PURPLE! And that's all I want to say about that...

Whidbey Island, WA(Zone 7a)

Tills, I am so excited for you - your ideas are positively brilliant and your true artistic nature has come through big time!!!!

I'm so excited that I simply cannot stop and read every post!! How did I ever miss this? Perfect, absolutely perfectilicious idea! I want to come! Did you settle on a date? Did I see May 3-4? Please, not May 4. My son's 16th Bday is May 5 and we'll probably celebrate the day before. (some will be celebrating, some will be crying)

Now, about soferdig. One must never, ever call attention to this man's,,errr, uh,,,, his, well, his 'feminine' side. Not out loud, anyway. It will cause him to erupt in grunts, etc. You get the general idea. I'm thinking he actually loves the color you have chosen, but he could never admit it in mixed company, or in any company actually. Who ever heard of a gypsy wagon done in man colors? The very idea has me laughing! Bohemian to the limit!!

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

You have hit the nail on the head Pixy. The trailor should be 'camo' and have chrome covered trailer frame, curtains would be 'Black Watch' tartan, and to finish off the accessories we would have dice hanging from the center of the window, and some bumper sticker like "I am nobody, nobody is perfect, therefore I am perfect". Oh yes and a bow target deer nearby.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

I think I originally told tils to paint it in camo so no one would notice it and it's grown from there. Ooops, must be my masculine side showing.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I just lost my whole post, was laughing so much and hit ? don't know what I hit if just went Bye Bye. Signnnnn.

I should of though about Sofer's secret side, I am into chrome, but would rather have it shining on my car as I drive around town, makes a better
Statement, 'I have more time to wash and wax my car than anything else. LOL
And I think I would like gold shimmery kind for the curtains, and crystal ball in the window. LOL
And Yes I am a no body, there for I am perfect. ^_^

Thank you Carol, I do have my moments. How is Steve?

Willow, yes you did, but it will be a cameo with a twist. The date has not been set yet.

Outta, As is mine, love purple in all shades.

Pix, Laurie says I have to have you as the paint wizard. We have to figure the date out. As I posted in the first tread, on my time frame Its so hard for me, to get time off on weekends. My Vac. is from the 27th of April til The 5th of May and back to work on the 6th.
What about the 3rd of May?

Lets trow out some dates, I want to do this soon, then again the weather may not let us.

We're all going to be in the neighborhood on the 27th-how long were we going to spend at Heidi's, and what time were we going to arrive after visiting HostaJim? Maybe we could get a little bit of a start on the 27th?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Thats sounds good, I like that Idea Susy, What about the rest of you? How long does it take to paint a 16' trailer.

I did it 5 Sec. LOL

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

That really blends in or at least it looks like it does in the picture.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

I was playing in my image zone, wanted to make a B/W pic. and click on color, it only does Saturation and Temp. But I about died laughing at what I got. LOL it wouldn't let me change the color tones. and it does blend well.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Hope you enjoyed your days off. I was in at the fairgrounds today potting more plants. Mostly Hostas and Coneflowers today. We have a lot of neat stuff. My DH went back on his Parkinson's meds today. Hooray!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Went back to work Work today this is my only early shift for the week the next 4 will be mids get home around 9 pm, just hate it, but money is money. Whould of injoyed it more it the weather would get over itself, and be nice for more than a day.
Happy for you and your DH, back on the Meds. is he doing better?

Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Oooh. Parkinsons. That's tough. I have an acquaintance who has electrical stimulation with a power control put in her brain. It has seemed to help.

Glad the meds help, Patricia - and glad that he's taking them.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Welcome back Katie, did you have fun?

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

Tills, I've got some flowers to go with your trailer, lol!

(Patricia, hope your hubby is feeling better on his meds, I'm going to try to make it to your MG sale, if I can. :) )

Thanks, Mary. Wasn't fun exactly - my folks have been ill and we (I) moved them into assisted living in the same week my brother was getting his daughter married. Exhausting. But they're recuperating and in a good place now, so that's good.

I'm looking forward to your painting party . . .

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Oh so sorry, hope all is well now, Its like the dreading call I will get some day soon, And take off to Calif.

Moscow, ID(Zone 5a)

Sue, Tills - very 60's! Psychadelic bus with Andy Warhol-ish coneflowers.
If the paint is oil based you will need to pick a warm, dry day.
Warm - in a relative sort of way, you know, not 45°F!
Check your chosen paint for the temperature application, it should give details like this on the container.

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Susy, just thought about this, the 27th is to soon I still have to clean it before we can paint it, Have not much time to do that unless I can get my DH to do it, and then I think the 3rd might not even work, I don't have all the paint yet, I only have 17 spray cans of one color. We need to pick a Sat. ( can not do a Sun) anytime after the 24th of May.
Any Ideas?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Got it Katye, I think I jump the gun on a time frame, (see last post)
Maybe this should wait til June or July, I am bad, I see it I want it NOW,
And anyway it will most likely pour if I make a date, so lets all play with the calender and come up with something , The paint I have says has to be 65d so that means 'NOT NOW' LOL But between now and then Would like some ideas on paint designs.LOL

Port Angeles, WA(Zone 8b)

Tills ~ I'm good with after the 24th. We've got SAR training on the 3rd in Redmond so can't make that day. 17th is the planning party here, 24th is Memorial Day weekend. I think you should choose a couple of days that work for you then everyone can check their calendars for the best fit.

I love all the psychedelic stuff...here's my contribution in purple ~
