Here are some plumerias from Yuma, AZ. I plan on posting not only my plants, but also other plumerias from Yuma as well. I encourage others from AZ to share your plants and experiences.
Thanks for looking,
Davie
This is JL Fruit Salad. All three branches are flowering at once, I really like the contrast of the old and new flowers. It has a light sweet smell.

Right on, Davie! They look really great! You can use any photo program to crop and rotate your pictures the way you want them. I don't know why your camera did it automatically for you, but I know you can rotate it back yourself. Thanks for sharing your pics!
Thanks Clare I know how to crop and rotate LOL...but for some reason when I post them here they go back to the original form.
Do you save it as a new file, Davie?Just a thought.
Your plumies look great. How'd you get your co-op cuttings to respond so fast? I look at mine everyday and think, "Is that little claw more open than yesterday?" lol
Look forward to more pics.
Kathleen
LOL. Sorry, Davie. I was really tired last night when I wrote that. That is weird. And you are sure that you saved the changes before uploading? You should try it again and see if it works this time.
Kathleen, my cuttings are doing nothing too. I think it is still too cool here yet. I just stuck mine in the ground because I was too lazy to pot them up. I'll dig them up when they start to push out leaves and pot them then.
Kathleen I do save the changes, but for some reason it still turns the picture back. I will try different software.
As far as the cuttings go...the special trick I use is...well really there is no trick...it is just really warm here already. It was 95 Sat, 99 Sun, and 100 on Mon. It has been over 60 every night for the past week or so. Clares correct...heat makes all the difference when rooting cuttings. You can tell they are responding when the tips shine, or get a waxy look.

Davie, try IrfanView - it's free, quite easy to use and full of features. Lots of DGers use it.

Unknown Yellow just starting to open, this is the best smelling plumeria I have. It is so strong and sweet. It smells like Pez Candy, tastes and smells when you eat it.
For some reason it did not post pic. Won't accept the picture.

wow! everything looks so good.
what side of the house is the plumie on? it probably didn't drop its leaves because it's is singapore.
Beautiful pictures, Davie. Thanks for sharing them. Try the picture of the yellow again. That is a gorgeous Singapore that your neighbors have there.
Very nice, Davie, thanks for sharing. Nice to see what a Singapore looks like in a landscape.
Dete it's on the SW side, which gets the most sun during the winter, as you might know...
Thank you Clare, it really is an awesome tree, it looks fake. I wish I could get closer but...I don't want to look like a peeping tom.
Thanks Kathleen, I think I have asked you this before...are you near San Marcos?
Davie
Yes, just a few miles. We're in a little bitty town called Bonsall.
nice to see blooms in arizona. i swear that my plumeria are taking their time. i guess it's because of these cold nights! how are those cuttings rooting?
Unknown pink with orange/gold center. (Evelyn's Maui Kalakoa). Very vibrant thick flower with strong scent.
Hey Dete its been above 65 here at night for over a month now and it's been in the low 90's during the day. The heat sure helps. The only one showing signs of life is kitty's plumeria, the rest are struggling for some reason. I have many that I started later that are starting new leaves. I wonder if they were shocked by such a change in temp? I am not worried, the'll come sooner or later.
Davie
wow!!!
we need to do a road trip to your place. when is the height of blooming for you?
i'm not trying to pay attention to lola beauty... lala lala - hands over eyes and wallet thrown to the other side of the room...
