BINGO TIME FOR APRIL!!!!!

(Zone 1)

Woo Hoo ... I'm up to 7 on my card now ... almost half way there! ^_^

That Bob Serbin is a beautiful Violet and Wow, Jennifer does look to be sugar coated, I really like the looks of that bloom! Yep, those look like "ruffles" on Pink Patti to me, and she is very prissy looking at that! I love pink!

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

OOOOH I'm so excited.......I had that one too *lol*
It is fun holding the cards. It's the first time I do it and am really enjoying it alot :)
I wish each and every one of you the best of luck :)

Well Pink Patti made me a whopping 4!
That Rob Serbin is gorgeous- nice color!

Davison, MI(Zone 5a)

I'm up to two now. Just a beginner you know.
Cindy

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I have been stuck at 5 for a couple of days. I really like girly looking african violets!
Cindy,
I got your hoya cuttings this morning...........thanks!

Davison, MI(Zone 5a)

Gail, just now! I sent them Monday priority mail. I just got a box I had been waiting all week for also. How did everything arrive? Minibell is a real good bloomer, & fragrant & pink. Hope you like it as well as I do.

All these pictures are so beautiful. Makes me wish I had room for vioilets.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I think I can rehydrate the cuttings. They were loose in the box but hoya cuttings are tough. They just came today because I was at the post office yesterday and nothing was there................

Davison, MI(Zone 5a)

If you slice a tiny bit off the freshly healed ends and soak them in water (the whole cutting) that might do it. Hold off on sending your box to me. I don't want to cut any more off my minibell - its small.
This is dissapointing. Let me know if the cuttings rehydrate alright.

For my second born...she is an absolute doll, and gave birth to our 3rd grandchild, her first, in January this year....baby Kathryne...you have all seen pictures! LOL

This is such a pure white flower too! Very SWEET, just like my baby girl!

Forgot to add that she calls her brother "Bud" and they have always been best of friends!

I am off for the rest of the afternoon, we are having services for Austin at two o'clock. Thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers for our family! His 15 year old great-grand-daughter, whom he had a major hand in raising, is going to speak. So I am sure there will not be a dry eye in the church!

Hope all of you have a blessed day, and both calls!!!!

I'm up to 7 as I had both of those!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I have been stuck at 5 for days on end .........do ya feel sorry for me??????? (LOL)

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

This game has a biggest loser prize, so being stuck isn't a bad thing! I've been pretty stuck the last couple of games, so I'm enjoying being on a roll this time... I got both of today's calls! :-)

I'm loving Rob's Whatever! Great stripes... I'll have to look that one up... is it a chimera?

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

It really looks like a chimera I think, too.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Rob's Whatever (7567) 10/28/1991 (R. Robinson) Semidouble chimera white/dark red stripe. Dark green, pointed, quilted, hairy, serrated/red back. Semiminiature

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Gail! I've just got my laptop at present, so I don't have First Class in front of me to look them up... I may have to see about updating, because I don't think my FC works with Vista.

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

I don't know whats going on because I seem to be on a roll this game too....lol..sure it won't last...not going to say how many I have tho..will jinx me for sure :o

Oh I love rob's whatever..picked it up from rob's last fall right before the snow started to fly...lol...was soo tiny when I got it..and it really is a hairy little bugger....thought for sure I would lose it over the winter..but here it is with its first itty bitty bloom..can't wait til it grows up and looks like the one in Janets photo..that is gorgeous!

AAWWW Nancy! He's so cute!!!

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

LOL Diane....I get such a charge out of a 1st bloom..^_^

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Totally understandable- I'm the same way! Take multiple pics and really make a fool of myself generally!

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

Very pretty!!! Wish I had all of these myself!!!

Bonus Call:

#28. Fredette's Sweet "Jenny"

For my niece, also Austin's Granddaughter. She has two beautiful children and is a sweet and pretty young woman!

(Zone 1)

Woo Hoo ... got that one too! Ok now, I just need 4 more for Bingo! I have only played Bingo a couple of times since joining DG and did win a prize either in March or April last year. My prize was a goody box of AV supplies that included a self watering container, plant food, little 2" and 4" pots, wicking material, and little plastic souffle cups for rooting leaves.

I can't believe how fast this particular game has gone for me! Usually I will get a couple and then go days before maybe getting one more! I'm not complaining though, I love it!

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

lol..good for you Lin!!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Well, pride goeth before a fall... did you hear that *crash* as my "on a roll" came to a sudden stop with that last call? That's OK -- Sweet Jenny is sure a sweetie with that ruffly double bloom!

I get all silly over first blooms, too! Realized the other day that I have more "first bloom" pics of AVs than any other kind of photo... they may bloom again with dozens of flowers, and I'll admire them, but I won't run for the camera! LOL

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

Oh my gosh Critter,,LOL..How True!!..I aways get camera happy with that 1st bloom then forget to take pics when they are all grown up...sounds sorta like with my kids.....sounds like critter and lin must be neck n neck..should be a fun finish^_^

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I gotta go and find my bingo list............I put it somewhere and have to find it!
I think I remember Fredette Jenny because I love all the Fredette avs.

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

#3. Janet

Well, you can guess who this one if for..lol I was named after Janet Leigh, and I NEVER liked my name. No middle name either....BUT when I had grandchildren I told my daughter I wanted them to call me by my name, "JANET" and eight years ago, MY NAME became one of the sweetest sounds I hear...LOL

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

#20. MAA'S "Robert"

Well, Robert is truly a family name, we have so many. My FIL, whom I loved dearly (he passed in 1999) was Robert, and his second son Bob is named for him as well. My SIL is Robert (such a blessing to us too!) and my grandson Carson is Robert Carson...so we have Robert everywhere...in my Daddy's family, and Mama's family as well. Robert must be one of the most popular male names...I guess!

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

I don't have either one of those either! I think 3rd time to play Bingo wasn't 'charm' for me! Worst I've ver done...

(Zone 1)

Nope ... neither on my card! Sure am loving these photo's though. I am so amazed at the sizes of leaves on some of the AV's! Huge!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I had "Grandma Janet" on my card! :-)

I'll be on the road a good bit of tomorrow... hopefully Janet will still get my ESP vibes, LOL!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

None for me
