Ewwww!

Marlton, NJ

Well it looks pretty and it definitely brings the birds in.

We got to 73 degrees yesterday and there were hardly any birds around.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Oh Sybil. I'm so sorry!!! You and Burn are just having a terrible time. Cute pictures though. Love the juncos in a row.

Rose, another productive day on the farm. That shot with the finches in the tree is amazing to me.

Nanny, you lucky girl seeing all the bluebirds.

Brainerd, MN

This Red Wing Blackbird is very unhappy.

I appreciate the sympathy! In a couple of days it will all be gone. Thankfully it's April and not November!

Nanny...your boy is sooo handsome!

Sybil...good grief!! LOL!! Hope it melts today!

Mrs. Ed...yes, the woods are loaded with birds and Ticks!! Itch...itch...itch...!!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

What about Morels!!! You should be seeing some there, Rose.

Ick on Ticks. I grew up with those things. Still get a few now and then, but not like when I was a kid out running around in the woods.

Mount Pleasant Mills, PA(Zone 5a)

Great pictures everyone.

Linth, that little Bluebird looks as though he is deep in thought!

Wallaby, love the commentary accompanying the ducks.

Pelle, how do I tell the difference between a male and female cowbird? I looked at the picture you posted and still cannot tell.

Sybil, Burn, that weather is the pits!

Still have not downloaded my pictures from yesterday.

Glad you liked it Granny.

Mr Blackbird isn't sure if he should pinch Straypuss's food, but I think he has babies to feed as Mrs has appeared again too.

I don't think this new feeder is too deep, it's just the cheapskate wont fill it up. Or is that cheepskate?

Do the housefinches get more colorful in spring/summer like the Goldfinches do? Seems they are really brightening.

And I'm pretty sure these are not purple finches ;-)

Adelbert, if you painted that 'barrow feeder' blue, do ya think IT would attract bluebirds?

Perhaps you could partitition it off and fill one half with feed and one the other with water and rocks for a movable bird combo. A first. Bet the Juncos would like it!

LOL
