Daily Pics Vol. #92

Linthicum Heights, MD(Zone 7a)

Wow !!! Very soon a thread won’t last a full day. That’s good, but it keeps everyone hopping. We just came from Vol#91 started yesterday. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/832465/

I’m still awaiting the arrival of most migratory birds. I have my hummingbird feeder out but no activity to date. That’s okay because it gives me time to work in the garden.

Spring reminders, not that I really need one, are always the arrival of the American Robin and the Eastern Bluebirds. Of course, in the interim, I can always salivate over Dave’s Bluebird family.

Needing no introduction, here's the old reliable, the American Robin.

Unfortunately, I have never had a Bluebird visit my property but I do know where they are and which boxes they occupy. So, I am able to get some occasional photos.

Edited to delete posting that should have been for Vol. #91. I had too many threads open at one time.

I'm still trying to catch up, lol, been busy gardening and taking pics. From 4 days ago, this pair of Mallards who are at home in my garden went on a walkabout. They were near my window marching past, led by the female, he spotted me.

Really like the water birds. Don't see those, in my neck of the woods, except for the Mallards
Pelle had the female cowbird too today, at least I think it was. It came with the brown headed cowbird. I tried to match it with your female. But I'm not sure.

Thanks Nanny, It was fun to see them again.
I see some nice color coming up, on your sweet goldfinches, they are so pretty. Can't wait to have them around.
I saw one yesterday. Couldn't get a pic of him. But, I now know, they have arrived and will soon be adding color to my backyard.
