Any tips on getting rid of monkey grass ?

Hi, tcinmb! Welcome to Dave's Garden. I dig my monkey grass up as it gets too thick. I have it "bordering" one of my beds, and it is starting to take over. So far I've just been moving it to the back yard where we have so much shade we have trouble growing grass. I have more to thin out, though. Do you have any new-to-gardening friends who need some nice groundcover?
