The Swans are beautiful Nanegoat. We get one more nice day here too, then crappy weather moves in.

Pelle, that Goldfinch is beautiful. Great shot. The Goldfinch here are just beginning to take on their color.

All the trees are in bloom now. The dogwoods, pears, cherrys, crabapples etc.

Nice pics folks!

Pelle, do you know if some of the Goldfinch migrate back in? Most of my "resident" GF aren't colored up yet (as of last weekend) they look about like Mrs. Ed's, but there was 1 bright yellow one and it was more skittish of me being outside around them...hmmm...I was wondering if he had come in from farther south.

Took a couple pics at lunch with the new camera, it's not nearly as intuitive as the Kodak so I've got the book out here at work (shhhh, don't tell anyone). The super macro did good and seemed to pick up the color of the muscari accurately. I took 1 zoom of a finch that really turned out nice but I was less than 10' from her anyway, LOL! Have to get the software loaded tonight so I can see them on the computer.

Hi Everyone! Just getting caught up on all the threads! I've had mouse problems (computer kind not house meeses)! Anyway have to use a different one on the laptop but at least it is working. This thread has gone very quickly but everyone has posted some great pics!

Our storm is finally gone and all that is left is the mud and wind! I took a walk earlier today thru the woods and the only thing I got were a couple of ticks...time to get out the OFF as spring really is heref!! Oops...make that 3 ticks and counting!

Nanny...I finally saw our Brown Thrasher singing in the tree tops...you are right they are good singers. Still no Hummers but did see both the male and female Eastern Towhee...no good pics though. Also saw a cute little yellow bird with a black throat...a first for me but no pics and I'm not sure what it was. I will go back to the woods as soon as I can buy some Off as there are different birds there and I'm still looking for the Cuckoo!!

Sadie...I keep thinking we have some migrate Goldfinches also...some are just so yellow and some are like Mrs. Eds!!

sadie, I will swap you for a Pileated WP!

Mrs Pheasant decided it was a nice place in my newly cleaned bed to sun herself, she made a hollow and threw dirt over herself just like a chicken.
