Looking for suggestions to deal with erosion, esp around a building. We have sandy soil. Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks!
Erosion
well I would think that anything with runners and grows in your zone would work well. I would think a Bermuda grass would be OK. Or you could go with Ivy's. I think they are sometime used to help with erosion.
Shore Junipers (Juniperus conferta) such as 'Blue Pacific' or 'Emerald Sea' do really well in your area. Also Cotoneasters like 'Queen of Carpets', 'Mooncreeper', 'Scarlet Leader' and 'Streib's Findling' do a good job of controling erosion; all but the last one are pretty fast growing.
Thank you so much for your suggestions. We were ok during the drought...then the rains came........!
