OK I have a small garden by the entrence of my drive way and it currently has a dwarft spruce in it. That's all that there is in it I have bought some Creeping Flox to use as a ground cover need any and all advice that anyone can give. Thanks!
Problem....
I'm guessing you need advice about the creeping phlox? I've found it to be an easy to grow and undemanding plant. I put it against the wall of my house in my flowerbeds to keep from having mulch up against the house (termites) a couple of years ago. It's spreading very nicely and rooting itself right through the mulch. I think it makes a great ground cover. When I planted it I added some peat to soften up my heavy clay soil and I also put some root stimulator. We had a real dry summer the first year so I also had to do some supplemental watering. Once it gets going, it doesn't need any further babying. It's really pretty when it blooms too. I think you will be very happy with your choice.
