I need help with finding the common name or species name for this houseplant.
Help Identify this Houseplant
Looks like Swedish Ivy to me.
Can you post a photo of more of the plant? It could be Swedish Ivy: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1354/
or possibly Piggyback Plant: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/10287/
here's the link with info for the Piggyback Plant and more photo's: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1664/

Looks like Piggy back to me also, but I agree, a larger picture would help, If it is piggy back, those little tender tips on the stems will start off a new plant wherever they touch the soil. Good luck. Weenel.
I vote Swedish Ivy......
Sure looks like a Swedish Ivy plant I used to have. I think it's a different variety than the one shown from Plant Files. It has slightly hairy leaves and is a brighter shade of green. Very pretty plant and easy to root new plants from.
Looks more like Swedish Ivy to me too. I also grew that plant a while back. Very easy to grow, loved it.
this is a variety of creeping charlie the scientific name is PILEA NUMMULARIFOLIA if you want to double check this go to Plants to grow and look at the pictures under the scientific name.
Here's the link to Plant Files for "Creeping Charlie" Pilea nummularifolia: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/69038/
Creeping Charlie gets my vote.
