I am trying to identify the pumkin/squash I currently have growing. It was sold as an Oriental Pumpkin _ don't think it is - solid, smooth texture, nutty flavour, delicious. About 8 " to 14", white striations going tan colour as curing on vine, small leaves with white spots, will climb.
SQUASH / PUMPIKIN VARIETY ?
Can't tell at this stage. It could certainly be Asian in origen. Pumpkins are winter squash and while in the west, particularly the USA, pumpkin is applied to a color and shape, a lot of Asian companies when advertising in English use pumpkin for a many of the larger winter squash..
