Pirl, I was such a manic too today that I poured myself a cup of coffee and went outside and left it on the porch and forgot to drink it. I could have used a little boost. Patti
I was only on 1/3 caffeine and 2/3 decaf for years so it was no problem and I didn't get any headaches.
Patti - I came in for some coffee, had one sip, left it on the counter and threw it out an hour later.

I do that, too!! I warm up a cuppa, and then take a sip and forget it. I can make two cups of coffee last all day that way!
Harper is having another party today and Victor, or is it Big Al, can wear a skirt to the festivities as April 6th is "National Tartan Day" in America. I am of the McLean clan and DH is of the Mclaughlin clan. It is a special day for the Italian painter Raphael as he was born on April 6, 1483 and died at age 37 on April 6, 1520 at the age of 37. I just heard that actor and NRA spokesman Charles Heston died in Ca today age 84. Ram Das was born on this date in 1931 and he would advocate “Be here now” to all of us. But for anyone having a tough day it is officially "Sorry Charlie Day" which honors those who have been rejected and lived through it. But it is now time to go outside and celebrate KY 111th "Arbor Day". Plant a tree or at least admire one. Patti

I like to nurse my coffee - it can last for a few hours! Then I nuke it and it lasts longer!
I do the same thing but when I say it on DG it gets JasperDale upset so I try not to say it. Now I'll Dmail him this post so he'll be warned in advance.
Not me. If it lays too long it loses its taste for me. No decaf for me in the AM. I need some juicing!
I usually don't do the grocery shopping, but went last week with DH. OMG! When I saw the price of coffee, I thought to myself, "must drink every drop or switch to tea!"
The prices on so many things have gone to such unbelievable extremes.
Two main reasons for food price spikes - price of oil and the switch to 'biofuels', which is raising the price of everything from corn (which drives up the price of lots of things - especially dairy products) to vegetable oil.
One third of all corn harvested is now going to Ethanol, per NPR.
Don't EVEN get me started on shopping for groceries!!! If what I hear about the independent truckers wanting to strike is true, then shopping will be a scary thing to do.
They are going to strike to hopefully bring the fuel price down - Right?
Now I am fooling around with smileys. How did Victor get that one in up above??

When pirl has had too much caffeine, I have visions of her ripping out weeds in her garden at 3:00 a.m. ala Mommy Dearest...and putting her cold coffee in the microwave, then standing there screaming, "HURRY UP !!!!
Should we start praying fervently for mini Victor that he doesn't exhibit scattelogical rambling symptoms like his dad??? I feel the need for an intervention coming on.
Just heard on the news that with Charlton Heston's passing, they've already made plans for a movie about his life, and the lead role will be played by God.
