The building where I live would like to put a plant in the lobby. It provides no natural light and the artificial light it does provide will be constant. Will 24/7 indoor lighting cause any problems for house plants? Are there some that deal with this better then others?
Lighting
There are several plants that seem to thrive in offices where there is no sunlight, so I would drop into one of the florists or garden center and ask there for ideas, failing that, there are some really good looking artificial trees and plants that look so real you have to actually touch them to make sure they are artificial, so I feel sure you can brighten up your hallway one way or another, good luck.
