This is the first time I've ever planted a garden! I'm becoming obsessed! I think I've found my fav hobby! :) I just planted some Daylilies, Lily of the Nile, a Butterfly Bush, White Fountain Grass and some Iris. I really really want some Pink Muhly grass but I can't find any at the nurseries near my house! But I saw a few pics online and I've fallen in love...:) Should I risk it and order it online? Is it worth it?
I'm in Florida, zone 8B!

I want Pink Muhly Grass!
If you can hold out until fall (when it blooms) you will probably be able to find it anywhere. Or, you can go to this site http://www.monrovia.com/PlantInf.nsf/715018c0a554020088256f1600604920/9d3448374d10239988256bf2005a7b2f!OpenDocument
then click on "retailers for this plant". The site will ask for your zip code and then tell you which nurseries nearby can order it for you. There's a Monrovia location in Cairo, GA (right on the Florida border) so there's bound to be a retailer near you.
You might check www.bluestoneperennials.com and www.highcountrygardens.com They both have a number of different grasses--no idea if they have this one specifically but it's worth looking.
You could go to GardenWatchdog, which is part of this site, and look in the top 30 companies for it, or go to PlantScout and put in the name (Muhlenbergia cappilarias or something if I remember right) and that will give you companies that carry it, I have some I ordered from High Country Gardens, they are in the Top 30 and are my all time favorite online retailer, and you won't pay a fortune. Just some friendly tips...good luck!
I buy most of my plants on eBay these days & do quite well with them. I know they carry Pink Muhly grass 'cus I've been watching it for a while - just run a search.
