CORKSCREW WILLOW ROOTING
I'm assuming that these cuttings were FRESH when you put them in water?
They wont root if they've dried out too much.
They are one of the easiest things to root in water and will develop roots very quickly...I've rooted them (inadvertantly) in a week when just left in a jar with a few inches of water. I found a vase with wilted flowers in it that had CW branches in it, stuck it in my garage, forgot all about it, and a week later, even in moldy slimey water, the willow had lots of roots on it, and the branches were putting out leaves.
Try doing it again with fresh cuttings.
