Garden DooDads

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Oh, how I love garden doo-dads. Hubby fights me all the way as he thinks it thrashes the garden (and to some extend, I agree) but every spring there are so many cute decorations out there, they're just irresistible to me.

Here is a door knocker. After grumbling a while, dear hubby screwed this to the gate and used some kind of gorilla glue to afix the knocker part to the base, thus converting it into a handle. I think he's an enabler deep, deep inside

I found another door knocker and again, after some moaning, he fixed it up for me, this time on the front side of the gate. How can I not be spoiled if he does stuff like this all the time? I luv him so!

not a garden doo-dad but took a pic anyway because it is one of those gifts from him that I treasure as if it were a 4 carat diamond. To the left is my $1.99 noid rose from the grocery store, blooming and growing.

Behind that fence is my plant ghetto.

OK You are too funny! Garden do-dads?!

Well, they are very cute and I wish I had some to post, but I don't have the knack for collecting them. Most of my stuff just looks like junk (not 'junque') when I get it home! (-;

My kids don't even want me to have my bird feeders out. They are such boring minimalists!

Gotta love those door knockers. Those are the kind of doo dads that do not fly away in a big blow. Gotta love you DH too, what a sweetie. :-))))
