Oh Boy! my 1st Morning Glories

Gardiner, ME(Zone 5a)

Absolutely beautiful flowers,I keep admiring them everyday. So in a few months I hopfully will have some also.

I planted 10 seeds I got from Beckygardener on the 20th,9 out of 10 came up withhin 2 days, all of them now and 3 are 2-3 inches tall this morning. They sure love the heat from the old radiator I put them on :-)

Mesilla Park, NM

Beautiful photo shots and flowers, making me want mine to hurry up.

What great photos! What is the cultivar name of this one?

I enjoyed its alluring faint ring of blue that circled the tube.

thank you!!!

I have the pot marked HamaNo Fubuki because that was the only english letters on the label on the seedpack, and I think it is from the Beach series. There is another pink Hama No Fubuki in the same pot I imagine also from the beach series, but I know not the actual names, but you probably do Joseph. Here's this mornings neighbors.

Great blue flowers! I'm very partial to the blue Morning Glories, probably because I remember my father growing them when I was small. Heavenly Blue has always been my favorite.

gardenpom, that picture of the unopened one was pretty. : ) I'm partial to the blue ones, also. : )

HA! yeah the ol' sprayer so I can pretend I was in a zone like yours and the rain just softly caressed this flower as it climbs the fence toward real sun... HA!

this little guy made me happy cuz he is so cute.

The raindrop one was really pretty. I like that pink and white one, too. I really don't think there are too many ugly MGs. They are all so delicate, and lovely. : )

Right you are too Blueglancer, and thanks so much. it's early right now, still dark and there are a couple of purty blooms that I'll get pictures of later. For now I have to correct another newbie mistake: labels !!! duh. It's bad enough when the packs are wrong but then there's me forgetting what I transplanted where too... AND I'm learning there are many manifestations for every kind of flower from the same plants even too !!! jeez. Ron already had to help me with IDs... embarrassing. (((and here i am asking for seeds....

if anyone else wants to post photos, by all means... join us!

Can't wait to see more pictures, Soulja. I only have a couple blooming right now, but I will try to get their picture, if they will hold still. lol : )

I'm still trying to figure out what these are. I've been on Dr. Yoneda's but ....
Nothing matches the seed packs I bought... still, I love these. They are so bright.

Oh gosh! All the MG photos are beautiful! I am off for Spring Break from work and will be out working in my garden for a week! Yeehaw!!! I will definitely be starting some more MG seeds in pots at that time! All I've got in my yard right now are the volunteers, though I did start the grow-out of the very few Mina Lobata (Spanish Flag) seeds I had left from last year. They all sprouted and look good!

Louisville, KY

well by all means beckygardener put up some shots when they bloom! and Hi patootie & thanks! I'm sure so many of you know the feeling of a newbie with her first fancy gang of blooms. It's been a fun thread for me and I'm grateful to all.
