Very cute pics nanny!

Nanny, have you thought about the"you supply the caption" feature? You'd be great!

Melbourne, FL

I love those color squirrels also. I guess you always want what you don't have!

Salt Point, NY(Zone 5a)

Another early riser, gardenpom?

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

I'd be happy to share some of my squirrels with any of you.
We have black, gray, red and fox squirrels. (not as many fox) Maybe I could sell them on Dave's new auction site?

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

LOL!!

Let's talk about you. How do you like my tail?

Maybe this belongs on the destructo squirrel thread, but . . . . I used to store my clay pots on my screened porch. One spring, our furry friend ate through the screen, dug up an acorn buried in a pot, and ate through the screen in another spot to exit the porch. Sigh.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

LOL. Oh my. Can't even exit the same door. stinker.

I really want to pinch their noses. It's a "sickness" I have with cats too. I might have to see a shrink! ;)

Still trying…

I'm actually surprised that this feeder is still holding up. I made it myself, so it makes me happy that the curly-tailed ones have not destroyed it yet.

LOL, Cute pics Mrs Ed!

Thought I'd try to deter the cuties from sitting in the feeder tray.

LOL! Yep, that's what happens with everything I sit on the ground!

This one is so cute I have named it Aussie. He has very fluffy ears that remind me of a Koala (sp?) Bear's ears.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Gotta love getting that mid jump shot GP!

Salt Point, NY(Zone 5a)

After a great (but tiring) day outside what fun to come in and see these great pics and get a chuckle!

Orchard Park, NY

GP - The little leaper reminds me of the cartoon character in the new movie "Enchanted." Cute as a button!

Fox Island, WA(Zone 8b)

The little buggers keep digging in my potted plants! They bury corn nuggets and then I have all these corn plants growing everywhere.

Do ya'lls squirrels make weird chirping noises at you when you go out?

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

Sure. The black squirrels when they get upset run up a tree, shake their tails and scream. Ek, ek, ek, ek, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
The reds are pretty noisy too. I was laying in a hammock once and the little red was on the tree above me screaming. He wouldn't let up. So I had to go back to mowing the lawn. He was such a bossy thing.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

HEE. Yup. Our squirrels do that to the dogs when we are outside. AS IF it is going to matter to them.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Aussie doing a howling wolf imitation...
