It must be officially Spring--my grape hyacinths are blooming--finally!! It's a beautiful sunshiney day, although a little on the cool side, here in our neighborhood. Pau and I have had our morning walk--very refreshing!

I'm off to plant some petunias and work in the flower beds--O happy day!

Mau, those are reproductions of japanese samurai swords. The long one (katana) is the main sword and never to be touched by women. The shorter one (wakizashi) is the backup weapon. And, of course, the knife is great for home defense.

I HAVE to get in the garden a do my clean-up soon! Everything is a mess. Stuff is coming up into leftovers from last year. Darrell has promised he will get the reed grass out before the end of the week. We'll see how that works out.
