My neice and nephew visited us over the weekend and I found them playing with some of my new canna tubers I was going to plant. They had coated them with honey and peanutbutter from their sandwiches! I washed off the canna tubers and let them set out in the kitchen. Well, Now that I want to plant them they are all crispy and dry and feel so light. The covering is just crumbling away. Was I not supposed to wash them? Did I kill my chance of growing them? Or can I still put them in the ground?
