This is another photo of a Cactus Wren. He has been around the house for 4 days now. I think he is calling for a mate. What a racket!

This not really a good photo, but I looked across the road, and saw 4 male cardinals sitting in this bush.

This cardinal was so surprised when I told him it was wallaby's B'day !

The House Finch is the same one, only the Cardinals changed!

I'll watch this way and you watch that way...

This Cattle Egret took a break from the cattle to fly over the fence to check me out.

These guy's weren't as smart...

Yesterday the temps got up to 60 here but now its back to being cold and windy.

Its a nice sunny day but I just can't handle that wind.

Terrific pictures as usual! I have the same birds every day and lately the Purple Finches have been ruling!

Just as I sent that, 2 Blue Jays were suddenly at the feeder! The first ones I have seen here for awhile. :-)

I soooo keep hoping to see a Purple Finch!

Back to the Finches. Here was a lone Goldfinch in their midst.

Thanks Pelle. :-) Here is a Dark Eyed Junco contemplating whether he wants to get into that sea of purple.

Then suddenly, a monster Red Bellied Woodpecker is on the horizon! Time to flee!

But then they realize he isn't such a terrible monster and come back. Here was a chubby little guy! Look at the yellow starting to show on them. :D

Somehow it sent before I got the picture on. lol

These are all great - but I have to comment on the Chickadees - their food is nearly bigger than their heads!

Looks like you still have snow there burn! It's darned difficult getting pics in that light isn't it, lol, I guess you know we have a foggy frosty day again! Nice Pine Grosbeak!

A few Redpolls, I'm not sure, if the one on the cover of the feeder is a Hoary, The streaking on the side, seem a little to pronounce for a Hoary???
