I really miss all of the Bingo chat. I suppose it's spring down south and all of you lucky gardeners are outside playing in the soil.
Woo hoo...I had one of those! What a dreary and rainy day we had...we did need the rain though, so I am not complaining! I visited with my Mama and it was a wonderful day all in all.
Just 2 for me so far... 3G must not be getting my secret smoke signals! LOL
I'll be chattier after tomorrow's DG seed swap party... been busier than a 1 armed paper hanger today, trying to keep up with posts and Dmails while getting things ready to go!

Has anyone in the history of AV Forum Bingo ever gone 15-15 or 0-15? That would be amazing. I'm sitting at 2 out of 8 calls. I missed the post that mentioned who the bribes need to be sent to so I guess I'll just sit back and watch and enjoy the show.

Well today is my Birthday and I am making a road trip into Calgary - an hour and a half drive, to go see the "World of Wheels" classic car show!

Spring is one the way here in southern Al.Daffy's are blooming and the trees are putting leaves out. It's been in the low 70's, just right to putter around the flower gardens.

I did only have one on an AV bingo years ago. Got a lot of kidding for that....I was encouraged to play so that the odds went up for everyone else,lol.
Its the third beautiful sunny day here. Its still cold, but the sun sure does lift the spirits. I plan on getting more of my winter sowing done and getting out the wood splitter. (AH, Michigan)

I've been out working in my yard a lot the past 1 1/2 weeks! We've been having glorious weather here in this part of Florida lately ... in the high 70's/low to mid 80's every day. Supposed to be another cold front coming our way the middle of next week and one night is supposed to be down in the mid 30's again with our daytime highs for two days only in the 60's. But, hey I will take one or two cold nights and cool days anytime - sure wouldn't want to have to deal with weeks and months of cold, snow and ice that some of y'all have to put up with in winter!
Hope everyone is doing well with Bingo ... I know sometimes the game can start out real slow for some! I've been there ... going days without any calls and then starting to get every one! So, you who have few ... just hang in there, it won't be long before you beginning getting them!

Thank you All! Yes I had a wonderful day. Enjoyed the car show and then went for dinner to my favorite restaurant - The Olive Garden. Was a very nice day indeed.
Except the Garden centre didn't have the 6 inch high domes I was looking for!!! Oh well.

CC, I was looking for high domes like that for my violet trays... I ended up with a sort of inverse solution -- clear storage boxes! I have a couple of "under bed" type ones that are about 6 inches high, with clear lids. I put a few little holes in the lid for ventilation (otherwise I get too much humidity), and I use the box like a tray, with a lid rather than a dome. I've got some little storage boxes that I use for leaf cuttings and small plantlets, too. Granted, it's not quite as pretty as a tray with a dome because you can't see the plants as clearly... but it's functional!
Yes I thought of doing that too but I have so many trays! a dozen to be exact! Those storage boxes are at least $10 each so it can get quite expensive doing it that way, plus then I have all these trays that are no use any more!
I think I got my big ones at Joann's, using those 40% off coupons... :-)

He's the guy doing that Cow Pot co-op for us, and I talked to him on the phone when I placed my order... I don't know if that's a competitive price for the high domes, but I do have a sense that he's "good people" and isn't likely to try to gouge you on shipping or anything. May not be worth doing mail order if you only want one or two... you know how that goes.
