DAILY PICS VOL 67

Very nice pics everyone!
ooooooo, gardenpom, that is a great picture of the hawk taking off. I love that it is an unusual angle and that tail is amazing.
Hey mrw31 I have the same mourning dove!!
I have that dove too! I call it Marlon Brando Dove. Somehow he seems like a big Godfather of the birds!
LOL on the many puffy mourning doves. The day wasn't particularly cold here, so I can't say that the dove was trying to keep warm. Maybe puffing up for other reasons...
Just popping in to say hi. Been busy researching plants for my new landscape but have been treating myself every couple of hours with everybodies pictures. Weather has been icky (very windy) so I've been staying indoors except for vey quick trips to fill the feeders.
Spring is coming! I found a fully bloomed crocus today, my son pointed out the first arriving Tree Swallow, and I saw a butterfly!
I've a Pileated calling and flying over fairly often, but it doesn't seem to want to stop by for more than a minute. ;-(
Here's a White-breasted Nuthatch from yesterday.
Stunning pic tiger!!!!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Imagine that, springtime! :)
O. K. it's official...I'm jealous of Sybil!! LOL! Sybil...congrats on the 5 Pileated Woodpeckers! Geez...can't believe it, I'd be happy to see just one!
Same here;Congrats!

Sybil, UNREAL, you seem to be living close to a wooded area? Way to go!!! Congrats
This is my new adopted pet, someone didn't want anymore.
It's a Female Zebra Finch. Hope you can see her well through the cage. I'll have to get her a new cage, it's so small and get her a bath.. She got a sweet little unusual voice.
I've already manage to train my cat to leave her alone. But I don't take chances, though, I close the door, when I'm not around.
Very sweet burn! Yes,I love their voices!
Great pics everyone, I have been reading and looking, but no time to post lately. Still watching birdies here, and like Angele very busy planning for this years layouts. I planted thousands of seeds this week and now we have the rain.. Expecting more than 2 inches before the weekend is over.
Let's see what I have from the past few days of birds...
Yellow-rumped Warbler in the front trees.
