Kodiak, welcom to the BW forum. You sure jumped in with some beautiful pics!! Love the Thrush!

LOL, Jane!! That is so tempting to caption.....I caught a couple more squirrels today. I did a series of pic on another forum. Wasn't sure how it would go over on Dave's!

Nice pics nanny!

Yesterday my DH got some pics of a Coopers Hawk getting a Mourning Dove in our yard.
Most of them are pretty graphic so I have to edit out the Dove before I post them.

Our Sharp-shinned passed through yester day morning too. He dove into the big shru here and got something. Luckily he is facing away (sitting on the cement thingy by shrub) so really can just see his tail!

Rounded tail (and bulk) suggests Cooper's to me, rather than Sharp-shin.

The snow is continuing to melt. The California Quail have bare dirt they can walk in now and I'm able to get in and out of my drive way with out the need of chains. (still need 4 wheel drive)

I had to get another suet ball yesterday, it was a large one and I doubt if any will be left after tomorrrow. They never stop eating it!

This Blue Tit uses my Acacia as a rest stop.

It's either getting fat, or fluffed up to keep warm.

I had a good downy woodpecker day. They really like this softer home made suet and hang out for a pretty long time in one "sitting."

Wonderful photos the past couple of days everyone! I've enjoyed catching up.
Is everyone counting this weekend for the Great Backyard Bird Count?
I may have a problem as I ran out of bird seed. May have to beg DH to go get some. :)
