Dear Zuzu,
Happy birthday and wishes for another year of your gorgeous roses so you can share the photos with us.
Here are some 'Shocking' lilies for your rose bouquet.
Pirlie
Edited to say: Oh no, I'm a day early! Happy Saint Valentine's Day, too!

Happy birthday to "The Rose Queen"
Happy Birthday, kiddo.
I hope the cats make you a delicious dinner, and wait on you hand and foot all day long.
Oh, Pirlie, my Pirlie -- you are a caution. You're not the only early bird, it seems. That dinner and a movie with friends I told you about yesterday turned out to be a huge surprise birthday party, so the anticipated tacos and margaritas were accompanied by a delicious chocolate rum cake.
Thanks, everyone, for the Valentine's Day wishes and the early birthday greetings and gorgeous photos.
This time it really is my birthday. Thanks, everyone, for the kind wishes and the wonderful photos. WC, that beautiful sunny hibiscus is the very essence of summer, and now I really can't wait to get my hibiscus plants back outside where they belong. Thank you, Sharon, I think it's working. All of my wishes do seem to be coming true this year. At any rate, so far it's been a grand improvement over 2007, my personal "annus horribilis."
I meant to post a rose picture for your Birthday, Zuzu - I just forgot by the time I got home last night at 10! Happy belated unrose Birthday from me and the cats.

OK...now I want the gory details of how many margaritas you had, how you made it home, and if you actually made it IN to the house !!!
Happy Birthday again Zuzu! Didn't realize Pirl started a day early!
Oh, boy -- more wishes. Thanks, Schickenlady, Eleanor, Yankee, and the cats. And double wishes from Pixie and Victor. Wow!
Gloria, I'm sure your article inspired more people than any photo could have, but thank you very much for the nice compliment.
JD, I only had two margaritas because I had been planning to work that night. Things ran late, though, and by the time I got home I decided not to bother. It was a great party, and a genuine surprise. I thought I was just going to a friend's house to watch a chick flick. I had expected five people to be there, but it was more like fifty. I actually was a little hungover in the morning, but I'm blaming that on the cake. I'd hate to think I'm getting too old to have two drinks.
Kelley, I love that picture too. I think you should use it in every thread from now on. It will be a good year, if for no other reason than my wealth of friends. Besides, I'm on Medicare now. No more staggering health insurance premiums.
Sorry I am late here - Happy Belated Birthday and I hope it was a great one!!!
Well, let's make it three days for your birthday.
Happy belated birthday!
I wish you guys would put the names of these roses with the pictures !!(please???) lol
Mine is Bob.
Al...seriously?
C'mon, Mike!
I don't know mine - it's from a florist. I'm sure it's been colorized some anyway.
Well, if they can name a daylily "Millie Schlumf" they can name a rose, "Bob".
(Believe it or not, I actually tried to look up "roses named Bob" ).
OK...so I was blonde as a kid...
I'm sending you to the NE Forum orientation!! (If there was one.)
I'm just here for the hazing.
Or for Mike's sake, just call it 'Omar', Gloria!
Who is Mike?
Should be a companion 'Bing' one!
JD is Mike.
I was once blond.
Then you should know, Victor.
Now that you are no longer blond, what are you?
