It looks kind of like an Aspidistra. Just a guess, as it's kind of hard to see. Can you get a clearer picture?

If it's an Indonesian native, then I can't help you. Sorry.

It reminds me of Aglaonema (like a different cultivar of this one: http://toptropicals.com/pics/garden/m1/raznozw/aglaonema_commutatum051.jpg )

or maybe Spathiphyllum (peacelily)

I've seen this plant many times, but the name escapes me right now. The leaves are somewhat thicker than on an aspidistra or spath lily, as I remember.

It is very often grown as an easy houseplant in Southern California. Because of the light-colored leaves it needs quite a bit of light (not direct sun) and just water it when it gets quite dry.

Thank you everyone for the help..

I have checked the responses and try to search the net for the recomended plant type.

I think it is a Spathiphyllum, based on the branches and additional leaf between leaf branches and the stem.

Now, I just have to find the species name. I will find out later with research in the net and literature.

Thanks once again

It may not have a species name--variegated plants are usually hybrid cultivars, and often those will have a genus name and a cultivar name but no species.
