NorCal Pottery Outlet in San Leandro is closing

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Not that I know of. :-(
You'll just have to move down before the end of Feb. so you can go buy pots.
These are the same pots you will find at Home Depot, Target, Lowes, etc. and a few higher end nurseries as well.
This was our first thread on this place almost 3 years ago. Lots of pictures!
Good Times.

Not that this will measure up to NorCal, but I just got an e-mail from Sloat's http://www.sloatgardens.com/ for their Sale on Statuary

33% OFF 2/15-28
40% OFF 2/29-3/13
50% OFF 3/14-27

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Sheesh, you're just on everyone's email list aren't you?!!

Fremont, CA(Zone 9a)

You bet your sweet bippie! I am amazed at how much money I save by keeping up with all the sales. Even on the things that I didn't even know I couldn't live without.

Ha ha, yeah Ok!
Just think how much you save if you never knew what these sales are!

I know, how boring of a life would that be.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I really am starting to suspect that my husband tosses all my mail. I am even on Sloats preferred customer list and still got nothing.

So tell me, is Statuary just statues?

Fremont, CA(Zone 9a)

From the images in the e-mail I believe it only to be statues, wall plaques and birdbaths. I would guess it is anything EXCEPT pots

Well, after the trip I posted about here, we finally went back for trip #2 on Tues. It was now 60% off. Whoo Hooo! Loaded the Yukon again. Trip #3 was yesterday and Lali and Kell were there as well, came home with another absolutely stuffed vehicle between my Mom and I. Trip #4 was today, I just couldn't help myself. They just kept bringing out more and more pallets and they got better and better. Today was the best selection. They are all done unloading as far as I know now, thank goodness because my yard is a pot ghetto now.
I did get some for gifts and family members, and some of my older cheaper pots will get redone with the new ones.
I planted this big red one this evening. It was my $10 pot, I got one just like it but even bigger, for $30. Too big for me to take it out of my car, hubby will get it tomorrow. The red square one was $8.

Anyone have suggestion what would look good in this pot next to my garage door. Something tall? The pot to the left used to sit there. The bare dirt on either side will be filled in with succulents.

Red pots???? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Is that instead of red hats???

Just so gorgeous Sue!!

I say but of course you put RED BAMBOO in there lady!!

YES!! perfecto!!

but now I am broke after all these pot purchases though. Where's the cheapest place for this one?

How was dinner by the way?

Oh and I just found that missing credit card, I stuck it in the same place you hold yours, man it worked great, never budged! Too bad my memory sucks and I forgot where I put it. Must have been the excitement and anticipation of the bargain pots! yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-)

I got several of these matching sets to give as gifts for relatives coming down from Canada for my son's wedding in May (if they last that long, trying not to be greedy)
Original marked down prices for this set, from largest down $10, $7.50, $5 and $4 and then marked down 60% off of those prices. How could I not get them?!!

I bought at least a dozen of the big ones on the left for $4 each, they are big and nice & deep, frost proof too not that it's important here. I plan on planting most with daylilies or roses that are currently in 5 gal black plastic pots. The pot on the right was also $4

So many colors but they all seem to compliment each other. My house inside and out is all warm colors as is the garden. I do have a couple deep cobalt blues pots too that really pop.

I love the plant combos going here, the small succulents, the blue-green of the big euphorbia, the dark bronze-black behind the pot of the aeonium, which is getting ready to bloom (big yellow blooms) and the variegated creamy yellow I just dig up and potted in the new red pot,

Well shoot girl, I think you bought my pot.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Ha, which one?!! I saw tons of people buying my pots all week!

My front door is a light brick red, I may have to go darker! The flash makes that pot look too bright, it really is deeper.

All the reds, Sue. They be mine.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

You got yours, can't have them ALL! How can there be a RED Pot Society with only one member?!!

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Ok Kell, show us your pot ghetto! :-)

Beautiful combination Sue. When you said that you bought pots I didn't realize that you meant POTS!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Show my pot gluttony? I should show you my husband's twitchy face when he noticed 2 6ft towers of pots hiding not too well on the front porch and said "So you went and bought more pots today!!"

It was pure genius for Norcal to have this sale during my birthday week. Tom is so trying to be nice to me and not point out my obvious insanity. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Doss, multiply the pots Sue is showing by 20 and you will have how many pots she bought.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Just counted, 95 pots total plus the urn. gulp!

Kell, my Mom bought several off me yesterday, the large one you had gotten with the pretty basketweave design in the aqua green and several more that had those colors too.

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

You will surely have fun with that many pots, Sue.

Fremont, CA(Zone 9a)

I think I should get a commission on all the savings that you have each made. I may be able to retire soon.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Actually George, my husband is suing you for the cost of the new pots, the soil to fill them and then also for all the new plants. Run George Run!

I was standing there when 2 pallets of samples was dumped at my feet. So I took that as a sign from God to buy most of them. LOL

But now I am not sure what type plant would look in them. Maybe cactus and succulents? Which of course I have very few.

I have other pots of this type too in a different place hiding from Tom. LOL
