Need Your HELP! I recieved a Paperwhite Kit as a Christmas gift from a girlfriend. I planted them per the directions and now 3 weeks later they are 18-20 inches tall and in full bloom! They are beautiful and smell great. But here is my question, once they are done blooming (however long that is) then what? Cut them down to the bulb, let them wilt & die, put them in the dark, plant them in the ground, throw them out????? I have no idea.

paperwhites
Smell great, don't they?
I wait for them to die back and then cut them off and pull them out. They need to store energy for next year and it comes from the foliage. After I do that, I trim the roots a little then let them dry. You can store them in a cool dark place in a paper bag until next year. But make sure they get air circulation or they might rot.
Or you can give them a toss and start over next year. ☺
