Is corn- specifically the indian varieties- resistant to shade?
Shade- Indian Corn
And- is indian corn edible?
All corn likes full sun, Don't know of any that toelerates shade better than others. All will tolerate a bit, "Indian" is normally a colored flint corn. It is edible, makes good cornmeal and is about as good as any field corn for roasting ears. Not competitive with any of the sweet corns tho. Most folks grow it for decorative purposes.
Ok, Thanks
