"SUBSTRATE rock or wood "
Can someone explain this. I read this somewhere and was unsure on if I should attach the plant to some rock or wood and place it in a pot. Anyone have a good site for this plant also. I cant find much info on it besides for what it says about it not being aquatic.
Borneo Fern(Trichomanes javanicum)
You will probably find someone who can better answer your question over in the "Ferns, Fungi, and Mosses" forum.
I found this info: http://www.aquabotanic.com/fernsanubias.htm and this: http://fins.actwin.com/aquatic-plants/month.200107/msg00526.html
I guess if it's a fern that can be grown in an aquarium, you can attach it to a rock or piece of wood and push the rock or wood down into the substrate (gravel). If it's a non water fern then you can attach it to a piece of wood or a rock and just sit it somewhere - just don't forget to water it once in awhile.
Well I attached it to some lava rock and burried it to where the roots were under soil. So I will see how it goes.
