East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

I may be remodeling our powder room and am considering installing a vessel sink similar to this one.

I would greatly appreciate your input about yours. If you like it, if it's easy to clean, what you'd do differently

thanks for your help

Don't have one but love that look. I look forward to hearing from others. Good luck with your remodel!

I don't have one either, had never even heard of them, but I sure do like the look of them.

Have you posted this in plumbing?

I don't have one, but I've installed a few. Vossner, that sink doesn't have an overflow, and the drain they show doesn't have one either. But halfway down that page you linked, in the yellow box on the right side, there are a couple "grid style" drains with an overflow built in. Most of these sinks are smallish and probably need an overflow of some kind. I'm not a plumber though.

thanks everyone for your input. since this is going in the powder room, we figured it wasn't absolutely necessary to have an overflow since it doesn't get used much and only for quick handwashes.

My sister had a transparent glass vessel in a 'powder room'. She didn't like it because it always looked dirty due to water spots.

ahhh, I was afraid of that. Since then, I have gravitated towards a stone vessel. I want the modern look but not the extra cleaning. I haven't made a final decision yet.

thanks again for everyone's input

My daughter has one, hers is a porcelain Chinese bowl absolutely beautiful got it from E-bay. It has deeper sides more upright than the ones you posted and she has one of the upright facets The same type as in the picture but different. She has it in a small powder room and it pretty much is the focal point of the room. In fact she brought this sink before she bought her house and the colors for the powder room came from the colors in the sink. It was easy to install and easy to care for. I particularly like the facet it really has a nice flow. I agree about the glass sinks pretty but it would show water spots and a shallow bowl might splash more.

ahhh, I bet the chinese bowl is beautiful.

My sister replaced her transparent vessel with a hammered copper one from Mexico. It is amazing, and she redecorated the bathroom around it.

wow, she must have REALLY hated the clear one, lol. I recently saw a beautiful red glass one priced cheap. It was very tempting and even though red is my fave color, I simply couldn't make it work in my decor. Obviously nobody else could as it's still sitting at the store.
