I have plenty of Mexican seasoning and I found vanilla here too, I also found vanilla essence?? Not sure why some recipes call for it and not extract. I never thought about tortillas sitting forever on the shelves but yep they do...
I have always used Dove soap and can find it here too...I have tried many different ones but that and Ivory are the only ones I like. I have given up on Crisco and use either butter or lard and have seen no difference. LOL and I now know why they sell goose fat in the butchers....makes the best roasties ever!! And to think all I ever used it for was to waterproof my leather boots,,,,,,,,,,,ROFLOL

Mink oil is the best thing to use on leather shoes.
never heard of mink oil........................ must be a yankee thing
Just do a google search for mink oil,and you can see all the uses for it and it's orgin

Well, I just used plain ole Country Crock! :) Guess you can get the kind with Calcium to make them a bit richer?

No Country Crock here so I will try salted on one boot and un-salted on the other and report in...
Oh they have an olive oil butter blend......wonder how that would work???
Oh I think the one with olive oil would be great! I think I would try on of each and see how shiny you can make Mr. Marks boots! :) Although, he might think they would taste so good he may try eating them! HA HA HA
Oh yea his boots and mine too..................LOL now we need another one for the fourth boot....
How bout trying some of that spray on butter? You know, where they swim across the ocean to get to it?! HA HA HA
