Shrub ‘blue mist’ 2007 (1) ---> tag for pepsi drinker
Maltese cross scarlet color red -- TT for whoever has it on their wishlist above.

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I got Tuinkabouter, wind and connie on the Caryopteris 'blue mist if they still NEED them lol

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Now Suzy you are going to make me go thru this whole list to see who wanted that maltese cross, you aren't playing fair lol I need to do a seed order lol ok I will lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

LOL! You know control + F brings up a find box, right? Type in Maltese Cross and I'll go check my dmail.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Gram and Blueglancer both want it. So does FrauSnow (well, it's within her parameters)

Blue needs it, too (although Maoza might be sending it, I didn't read the whole conversation:))

With so many people wanting it LeBug, maybe you'd better just keep it to see what the big deal is. ROLF!

Suzy

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Suzy I tried your thing with the box and no luck I took them off the list so if you run into whoever it was I will have them. (maltese cross) I went up and down the list and didn't see them.
No I didn't know about the box but it doesn't work very well for me, too many other words included with the 'wish list' and they are worded different didn't show all of the wish lists. I'm cross eyed! AGAIN lol

I already had blue mist in your envelope pamsue.

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

What are you talking about Suzy the blue mist or the maltese?

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

I found a post in the first thread where Frausnow asked Suzy for maltese cross
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4357174

I have found that when using the search box... you have to go back to "thread #1" too.

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Oh, ok Suzy didn't say that I thought we were all on here now lol Although I don't have my wish list on this one lol Thanks!

We'll see if that was who she meant....

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Maltese Cross, sorry. LeBug. I am on AOL...no spell check in the threads (oh, could you guess?) but I (apparently) have magic keys I can press to find things really fast.

Gram and Blueglancer and Frau Snow still all need Maltese Cross. We will have enough, it's just marking them all for different people. If you are totally confused, put them ina separate baggie with a list of who gets them and I'll check before sending. If you get doubles, keep your mouth shut! LOL! All my mistakes will be public if you blab!

There are other people who wanted M.C., and I believe are getting it from certain people already: Blue fro Mao, Wind from Iloquin. There will be plenty and it germinates and grows well. I've had it before, and heck! Maybe I'll grow it again this year with all the interest!

The Blue Mist people are Pepsi, Frau S. & Tuinkabouter. Pepsi and Frau S. are filled by LeBug and I will have some for Tuinkabouter before Feb 1

Wind can go back inside where it's warm and not rustle the bushes for seed :))

PamSue appears to have hers.

That Blue Mist shrub is weird..a shrub that blooms the fist year! However it is scrawny looking.

Do you think I have it?

Suzy

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

tcs, do you still need the dogwood seeds?

Suzy you said this

"Gram and Blueglancer both want it. So does FrauSnow (well, it's within her parameters)

Blue needs it, too (although Maoza might be sending it, I didn't read the whole conversation:))

With so many people wanting it LeBug, maybe you'd better just keep it to see what the big deal is. ROLF!"

What seed are you talking about?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Lebug, I just rewrote it here:
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4382503

I am sorry for the confusion

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Blue mist isn't scrawny looking, I planted some more this year and they turned out to be pretty and blooming, I beg your pardon lol My oldest youngun is 4 yrs. and it 4' around I hope it's topped out lol I might have some more seeds out there for Tuinkabouter I'll check tomorrow it won't hurt them being in the freeze but I may have milked all of them out, I have four in front of the house two in my butterfly nectar garden and one in my herb garden lol

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

(Yes I'm still lurking) caryopteris x canodensis/ blue mist spirea is one of my FAVORITE shrubs!!! While caryopteris is a shrub, it is treated somewhat like a perennial in colder zones where it will suffer dieback. It should be cut to the ground, but not until spring. It flowers on new growth, but is susceptible to disease if cut back in the fall.
Fairy, my summer sorbets passed on : ( (We'll have to reconnect in the spring.) One of the willows is hanging on, but one died while I was away for the holidays!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

confused you think I'm confused I'm just going crazy lol

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

Hi Lea!

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Hi Kath :)

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I have enough blue mist for tuinkabouter, pepsidrinker, wind and Frausnow :) plenty :)

Lucy I never cut my blue mist back and it always looks good I might cut the 4' one just to keep it in check this spring thanks for the tip of not trimming it in the fall!

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

I think in Z 6 it is fine, but Z 5 it dies back. Certainly, don't cut it back if it doesn't need it. But the flower color is lovely isn't it!!

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

LeBug, lol, I don't even know anything about blue mist. I think flowerhead410 was telling you that. You sweepy? LOL : )
~Lucy

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Lucy, Nope I'm not sleepy who has time to get sleepy on this thread lol Just got confused, on my birthday this year I hope I get a brain I asked Santa for one but I must have been a bad girl this year!!!

Sorry kath! lol

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

LeBug, my head swims in this thread. lol I'm past confused. : )
In the last few mins, I've read Blue, Bluespiral, BlueGlancer, and Blue Mist. Alot of Blues. lol : )

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Lucy, Did you say you wanted some blues lol lol

I hear you girl! You should be in this swap think your head is spinning now! Come to think of it are you in this swap or just lurking lol It's hard enough to keep up with the seeds little lone who is in it lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Lucy *is* in the swap, I'm picking for her :))

She has a personal pig-picker. Veddy exclusive!

Suyz

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

I am sorta in this. Suzy is helping me out. I'm trying to get some seeds together to send her, but it's going slowly. My days are not my days anymore. I spend most of my time in the car, running.

I'm so behind on everything. I thought about just going crazy, but I doubt anyone would notice. If I didn't sit down in here some every night, I would go crazy. You people make me feel better.
~Lucy

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

I need a personal pig-picker lol I may be reaching my limit though lol Who knows! I figure I ask for the seeds that I want and if they are gone then that's one seed less to plant no biggie lol I just hope everyone gets what they want here!

Lucy, did you want some skullcap seeds to my purple one, I'm thinking of listing them if I get around to it.

I'm having a time cause dad is getting mad because I'm not watching the famous 'reruns' with him and I hate reruns so this gives me an excuse not to, he got mad the other night and went to bed at 7:30 lol And running? Yep when you don't work everybody thinks you can do their errands for them and just don't understand the words 'you are busy' they think you can just take off anytime and run for them I even have neighbors asking me to run for them lol My son has had me in town 3 days this week! And I need to get my truck fixed to go get my dirt for WS and he forgot me for two weeks (the guy that works on it) Dad wants to go out an eat 3 times a week lol And then when I go into town to the grocery it takes me four hours to get back from the long list I have to pick up of different things, then there is my dog that I have to brush every day or I have snow on my carpet not to mention vacuming every day, shall I go on? lol I am tired yes lol

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Lucy I'll tag those Snapdragon variety 2007 trade for you maybe they will be taller :)

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

Ok. Lebug, on the snaps. And, of course you know I love the skullcaps. I still have the hot pink one I am growing for you. You have to see it. All mine that are in the ground made it through the freeze. I was surprised.

I'm gonna send you the pink one as soon as you say it will be safe for the ride. : )
~Lucy

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Gotcha and believe me I won't forget about the pink skullcap, you're so sweet!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Okay, I have actually several requests for snaps -- Can you look for your name and tag them, pretty please?

Fairy, How tall are these? (a guess is fine, about 12" or about 24-30")
Bicolor snapdragon-each flower is pink & yellow
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4367271

Starlight, can you tag these, 1 for grampapa, and one for Blueglancer.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4368719

Connie/Pepsidrinker, are the snaps from your garden tall? How many packs do you have to spare?
Here are some people who want them:

Blueglancer (especially likes this color, so she's first, but she only wants the tall ones)

Frau Snow, Rachierrabbit and Gram would like them whether they are tell or short. Gram did I get that right? They are burgundy colored.

Thank you!!
Suzy

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

LeBug, Speaking of being home and doing everybody's dirty work....Guess what I had to do today?

I had to listen to a radio call-in show where the guest was a friend of my sister's who was afraid she'd be on the air with a big vacuum and no callers and nothing to say. My sister couldn't do it because she was gong to be on the road, butI coulddo it...it would just "take a minute."

I had to call in with questions or sonversation, but all I knew was the basic topic. (I didn't know anything about the basic topic, but I knew what it was.) I had made several question up in advance that I could read, but within the first 2 minutes of the 1/2 hour progam, all those questions were answered, so I had to come up with something else. Okay, so it wasn't hard, and it didn't take a whole long time, but I felt like an idiot, and if it hadn't been early in the morning, I swear, when they finally let me off the air, I would have had a drink!

(Should have had a nip before I called...I am actually quite shy. ROTFLMAO!!!)

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

I wish we could have heard that. LOL What a good sister you are. : )

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Suzy, I'm sure you impressed them being the all around girl that you are! But I sure would have liked to be a fly on the wall listening and watching you squirm lol I'm a lot shy except when it comes to talking about what plants I know about that's why I don't join in on a lot of threads that I would like to. My sister would have just laughed at me if I asked her to do that if she was speaking to me lol And hey I bet it was 5 O' Clock somewhere for that drinky poo lol

I don't have anymore snaps just had that one trade next time I'll go into town and see if they have any at wally world, they aren't that much of course they may have gone up this year like every thing else! I always look at the seeds when they come in anyway and if I got some snaps maybe it will keep me from buying for myself, like I need seeds lol Maybe after I go thru my trades for this year I'll find some snaps, who knows I can't remember what was in them, I need time to go thru them and there isn't any lol Right now anyway I still have to put my T&M order in for those yellow and red 4 O'Clocks I'm splitting with you! lol

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

LeBug, We both have seeds, right? Lots and lots of seeds.

I got the Burpee catalog yesterday, and I saw about 6 things I already have, maybe a slightly different kind or color, but I want THOSE. The prices are unbelievable! 10 seeds for $4.95 on most of them. I put the catalog away.
(But you know I'll have to pull it out again LOL!)

Oh, yeah, I am very glad none of you heard me!

's-Gravenhage, Netherlands(Zone 8b)

Pamsue:
Suzy asked me for some Primula veris seeds, which I had already promissed to you. She wants them really badly! I agreed to split the batch up as I think she deserves it. Hope you don't mind.....

Hope I didn't mess things up but wouldn't be surprised if I did! Just let me know if I forgot something, of if I tagged something for you that you actually don't want.....

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Suzy-my snaps got to be about 14" this last year and were beautiful-I wish I had saved more seeds-will have to this year. I have Frau & Gram down for them, I will have to see if I have more.

I didn't get a chance to update my list last night-swear I will do tonight!!

If you all like the caryopteris, I will try to figure out what the seeds from mine look like & save them for next year (I hope we do this again next year!!) I will see if it has any on it from this last bloom-I think it was my fave plant I bougth this year!! Here is a link to pic of it!!
http://davesgarden.com/community/trading/image.php?user=Fairy1004&pid=38971
Sorry it was windy that day, but I think you get the idea of how purdy it was!!

TUINK-thanks!!! That is correct:)

Mount Laurel, NJ(Zone 7a)

hello, wow...you were all busy online last night!

So what is the final verdict on the caryopteris....does anyone need more? When the sun comes up, I can go check for seeds :)

LeBug...when I was rechecking thru the threads to make sure I didn't forget anyone low and behold I found not one but two requests by you for the ironweed!!! yikes, I missed both of them so sorry. I'll send some seeds in for you. You sure posted quite a listing too.

Ansofan and Tuink I sent you dmails to confirm your requests

Suzy, It may have been me you're thinking of for the maltese cross...I think you had some earlier on in the swap and I dmailed you :) also I noticed you wanted the balsam. Starlight has me down for some, feel free to take out seeds, I only need a few.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Tuink, you've got my list right...and thanks much :0)

Fairy, the caryopteris is beautiful. what's not to like. I love anything with bi-color foliage, and the blooms are a wonderful contrast. so now we have to do it again next year. Suzy, are you listening? you've started something, you know. and nobody else will ever be able to do it right.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

wind, if you do come up with any more caryopteris seeds, I'd like to try it. I keep looking at it, and the more I look, the more I like it. It would be pretty to have the regular one and then get fairy's variegated next year for contrast.
