Adept (n) A highly skilled person; an expert
Tyro (n) A beginner in learning something
I chose those two words in hopes those who aren't familiar with those words would be curious enough to view this thread.
Over in the Seed Trading forum we have Mentor/Newbie thread started. What we are doing is pairing up Mentors and Newbies from the same zones. The idea is to help out those new to gardening. The mentor is expected to provide seeds and/or cuttings if needed and information.

In zones 4, 5, 8 and 9 we have Mentors eagerly awaiting a newbie.
Mentor or Newbie, come on over and sign up! It's a great way to make new friends and share our love of gardening!
