It's going to snow for several more months so we might as well make the most of it and keep shooting great shots!! Eleanor
More Snow Photos!
Great shot, Eleanor. Your trees look like they are covered with marshmallow fluff! Does anyone have some chocolate syrup?
Thanks Candyce. The fluff was gone by the end of the day! Eleanor
Mmmm, chocolate syrup.
I was out today, but didn't bring my camera. D'oh!
I'm sick of snow already. I'm dreaming of a green Christmas. x, C
Yeah, I'm dreaming of a Christmas on a white beach with crystal blue water and palm trees swaying in the breeze...
I'm dreaming of the day AFTER Christmas, when it's official to be complaining about snow.
I re-worded this song just for those who HATE SNOW for the 90 days until spring thread this morning!!
We're dreaming of a green Christmas,
Just like the ones we've never had! (I know we've had green Christmases before but it sounded good)
Where the trees are swaying,
And children playing,
Out in__ the sun with mom and dad!
We're dreaming of a green Christmas,
With every gardening gift we wrap.
May your days be sunny and warm,
Then the plants can't have a long, long nap!!
Very, very anonymous!!
I think we may have a green Christmas, all our snow melted today.
Grammy that photo is so pretty! I don't mind the snow as long as it isn't too cold.....I love mild winters. But normally it does get pretty cold where I live....
It's warming up here too - it sounds like it's raining but I thing it's just everything melting. I think we'll still have a white Christmas.
x, C
It rained and rained and rained and the wind blew and blew and blew all night long last night!! We still have snow and snowbanks!!
Thanks Dawn for the compliments on my pic. Eleanor
It is quite a study in contrast to be back down here in the heat! There's still nothing quite as beautiful as the woods in the snow. I'm just so happy we were able to have a White Christmas with my son. Keep the pretty snow photos coming........I love 'em!!
Al - I love the reflections on the snow in that shot! Very nice!
As to the "Shining" Maintainer.......one of our very kind neighbors who has a plow on his truck had come up and cleared the driveway to our Jeep and made a path to the door of the house. That was such a nice thing to find!!!
Makes it nice to come home!
It sure does, Deb! We are so fortunate to have such great neighbors in both locations.
Do you have snow on the ground again where you are? It's supposed to be pretty cold again here starting on Wednesday. I love it!
No snow, it all melted before Christmas, and we've had mild weather since. I'm looking forward to more snow, but I do enjoy the warmer weather.
I can recall a few New England winters when we had a ton of snow very early and then nothing for the rest of the winter....do you think that may be the case this year? It is so unusually hot down here this year, and it seems that weather everywhere has become pretty strange!
Thanks Louise! Your pics are beautiful. Glad you were able to enjoy a white Christmas. Eleanor
Thank DonnieBrook, your shot of the road is very nice also.
Nice shots Louise. Welcome back!
Beautiful photo's Louise, and it's nice to know you have snow at one of your homes! LOL
I could use a few flakes here, Pixie (don't I sound like you just can't please me!!! LOL) It was so hot today, my petunias in baskets shriveled up and begged for water! I have to say that it is so nice to be walking with good footing again!
Well my petunias have been freezing here, Louise!
Are you telling me that you're freezing your petunias off, Victor????? LOL
Yes Louise! Nice shot, burn.
I agree, Burn, very nice shot!
Great news for us here........the pileated woodpeckers have returned to their dead palm tree condo just down the street from us. I can't wait to see the babies stick their heads out when my DH knocks on the trunk each morning on our walk. That was so much fun last winter. Here is the condo.....hopefully I can get some shots of the woodpeckers at some point.
But it sure is pretty frosting Eleanor!!!
Frosting, marshmellow....have we got a sweet tooth this morning??????
Always have a sweet tooth!! Eleanor
