I have a extremely large Musa. It is getting too big to be kept indoors. Could anyone tell me what variety it is and if it will survive in zone 8a? I live in Varna, Bulgaria. Some of you might of been on holiday here.
Musa variety identifying
Please could someone tell me what it is atleast
Hi sasha10. Judging by the number of views with no responses yet I would guess that no one so far has known what it is yet either. You might try posting this picture and question in the Plant Identification forum. Here's a link: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/ Please read the sticky thread about marking threads Solved when you do get an answer :-)
Good luck!

HI Sasha, I wish I could help, but I will say musas are kinda tough to ID, especially when not flowering. It might help to get a picture of the trunk where the leaves meet the stem. Do you know what USDA zone you are in? My thinking is thant if you are in zone 8 or colder, better to play it safe and keep it inside. don't know if that helped, but good luck
