Hi, I grow a Musa 'Little Prince'. I have mine in a northwest window. I let it get only slightly dry between watering. If it gets to dry it gets yellow leaves almost over night. You can also keep it in a cool spot,45-55 degrees. Let it go semi-dormant. Check on it once in a while so it doesn't become bone dry.

the info is right from Patty, it only requires enough water to stop it from drying out, once spring comes, you will See new growth start from the middle of the growing point, that is the time to give a bit more water till it gets new open leaves, then start to offer a feed like blood/fish and bone meal, or some other feed you prefer to use, it can be set outside once all signs of frost are over and it will be requiring lots of water by then, some folks don't cut the Musa back when bringing indoors as they just grow them as house plants, but I guess it depends on the room you have for that, good luck and best wishes. WeeNel.
