Funniest Thing I Saw Today

(Zone 7a)

Mother's Day Tarantulas is the best! LOL Whose mom DOESN"T need a big spider?

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I must really be demented cause I really like the "have your valentine shot here"

Norfolk, VA

we have a funeral home near us. the sign that reads
Smith and Williams Funeral Home
over looks a lake.
that wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that the funeral home is across the street!

(Zone 7a)

I am too! That's why I remembered it after all this time!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Funniest sign I saw was a sign outside a construction company - it said 'Man wanted for steel erection'

my wife saw it too so she knows I didn't make it up.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

These are great, you guys! I've been going through holiday depression all day and this is the thing that made me laugh. I love "Ear Piercing While You Wait". They're all good. I think I'd really like a Christmas tarantula. But it makes more sense on Mother's Day.

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Hey Al, did you run in and sign up???????????
How much fun is this?
Yeah I like that ear piercing too!
Actually they all make me laugh.

lots of funny stuff. we have lots of places that do manicures but after seeing one named 'TP Nails" we call them all Toilet Paper Nails. (courtesy of my teenage comedian son)

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I wonder how many women in the past were given the wrong pair of ears when they picked up what they assumed were theirs,or maybe even got a mis-matched set. After all, these places can get pretty busy at times...

I had a lady came into my store and ask to see the manager, I said I am the asst. manager can I help you. She says no I want to speak to the manager. I said there is no manager here today. I am the asst. manager what do you need. She says the same thing again, So I say I am the manager in charge, can I help you. She says O, I just wanted to let you know that there are two of your carts in my apartment parking lot. and walks away. I stood there dumbfounded. then thought she was crazy. and everyone who hear this stared laughing. and even now when someone ask to see the manager we all remember this. and still laugh.

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

Gee Tilly, that I guess was too important of information for just a lowly asst mgr. A real mgr would have handled it better I guess. LOL

(Zone 7a)

People do that to me all the time. They call and want to talk to my manager. She's not in, can I help you? No, I need her. Well, if you let me know what it is, I can give her the message. Okay, I have a lady at my register who doesn't have ID and wants to write a check. What should I do?

Rocky Mount, VA(Zone 7a)

Tell her she needs cash? or I.D.?

I remember a couple of years ago, there was a lighted sign, high about the city, that read..."SECURE N STORE". Well, the first three letters were not lighted one night. Yes, it said, "...URE N STORE".

ROTFLMAO

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Didn't work for me, either.

When we were growing up, there was a tailor shop in town where my Dad would get his suits fitted. Eminent domain forced the man and his wife out of their tiny shop and tore it down for a freeway on ramp.

They instead relocated them to a small odd shaped space in a professional bldg. full of lawyers, doctors, dentists, etc. and put a very official sign on the door which read:

MORTON J. GOTTLIEB C.P.A.
(Cleaning, Pressing and Alerations)

Who knew !

This thread keeps me in stitches every time I peek at it!
