Okay, I'd love to see the one you made!
Frass Happens :o)
Yeah Cat!! Cough it up... Where do we go for ours??
hehe!
Y'all, are totally cool. It was just the other day I posted the question "What is frass"? It immediately drew snickers and was explained to me, but by Jove, this is the first time in my life I have ever viewed cat poop. Lolololo.
For all of you that helped me start my butterfly ventures, my other books arrived today. All of them are GORGEOUS. I also have one or two beautiful insect books. Thank you. Thank you. Martha
Okay...ya'll asked for 'em. I've designed a bumper sticker, t-shirt, mug, mousepad, bag, keychain with the "Frass Happens" theme.
I ordered a T-shirt and a bumper sticker for myself. I want to see what they look like before I venture out to make and purchase other products.
You can use the link below to see what I've created or just go to the zazzle home page and do a search for 'frass happens'

I love what you have created Cat! Awesome!!! :-) :-) :-)
Wunderbar! Cat, y'all zipped this production together in no time flat. I am amazed at the talent here. I want to order a mug, but I'm going to wait for your final okay on the T-shirt and bumper sticker you ordered!
Martha
Yeah!! Wtg Cat! Do you get any kick backs from our purchases??
I love it!
Yes...am still going to wait to see what the products look like before I pass along my opinion. You just never know how the graphics will turn out until you see them printed on a product.
I'm not in this for the money :o) but yeppers to your question Deb. When that website asks if you want to post it on a public market place there is a small percentage of it that goes to my zazzle account. I figured over time it will only add fuel to my online purchasing habits :o) If I end up ordering everything I see am going to blame that on Shiela for showing me that website. Which, by the way, is quite cool!!! I'm on dial up (I know, some of are still living in the jurassic period) so it took me forever to get stuff done.
Am still waiting on what ebay seller Cornerstop comes up with because I want to order a small "mass" quantity of bumper stickers for the butterfly club members at NABA.

Verry very cool Cat!
I have bought from Zazzle before. I got Dave's T-shirts for our entire family. I enlarged the logo on the front of mine, and added my DG name to the back. The resolution was super clear. I think I will make up some T-shirts too :-).
debnes
Cat, I truly believe with this venture, you will be able to give up that dinosuerus (?) of yours, and get your cable hook up. I'll line up and get a bumper sticker, maybe a mug (likes Martha did), oh yes, one for my garden cart, and, and, many other spots in the garden that could use one too. lol.
Luv you guys!
Kim
p.s. 'cause of you. I spent some time at the Library this morning, and have found some great books on butterflies and caterpillars. Ta da! I'm gonna be a bookworm while the garden hibernates outdoor. :-)
I'm planning on ordering some things with the logo too, I like the result....great job everyone, especially Cat, for coming up with the idea!
Welcome Martha.....you know you are a butterfly lover when you think frass is cool on your clothes! LOL
Great job Cat!
I definitely will get some of the bumper stickers, that second cat looks really good in the pic.
When I was a kid, my DGM didn't like to hear any swear words, so my DM came up with "tish" as an alternative to the other doo doo word. Frass is another good "code word!"
Cathy
"...you know you are a butterfly lover when you think frass is cool on your clothes!" ROLF!!! I never even thought of that - that fits us perfectly!!!
I got email today that my zazzle order had been shipped. I do so hope the graphic images come out looking sharp. Would be really ticked off after all that editing to find out the pixels pictulate!!!
Am still waiting to see what Cornerstop says...her prices are lower that Zazzle's - or at least they were when I bought those I Brake for Butterflies bumper stickers.
Will let ya'll know how the t-shirt and bumper sticker look when I get them.

Far out Cat!!!
LOL Roxanne..:-)
Good job Cat!! They are a good company to work with. I ordered two Dave's T-Shirts, but selected the wrong size. I contacted them and they took them back and sent me others, now that was service.
Here is the Dave's store at Zazzle. http://www.zazzle.com/davesgarden
Cat, I'd proudly wear a "Frass Happens" t-shirt. I can't wait for them to start selling. What a wonderful idea! I too like Zazzle. I have bought two DG Garden Aprons from Zazzle and had my DG name printed on them. Great quality!
Got my Zazzle Frass Happens t-shirt today!!! Woohoo!!! It looks great!!! I got a plain white one and am going to give it away to a butterflying buddy.
I like the job Zazzle did and am going to order a couple of light colored ones for me to wear out in the field when I'm butterflying!!! Uhmm...and am going to order a couple of mugs, a couple of caps, a mouse pad, keychain, note cards...and who knows what else!!! :o) Woohoo!!!
Here's a couple of photos of it.

ps...am still waiting for the bumper sticker...they are shipping that separately.

Cat those are really awesome. I have got to make a order for myself especially the bumper sticker and shirt
Looks great Cat!!! I'll be ordering some things too!
Cat, great work! I'll be ordering a mug and some t-shirts.
Martha
Oh, I just saw this thread. This is way too cool. Can we order the t-shirts and bumper stickers now? I can't find them on the Zazzle site.
Here is the link....

I ordered mine! These are just too cute. Great job!
Glad ya'll like 'em. Do so hope you're happy when they arrive.
The bumper sticker hasn't arrived yet but I am tickled pink over the t-shirt...so must order some in different colors for myself. Unfortunately white doesn't stay white when I'm wearing it :o)
The mug is also a must have for me - can't wait to show that off at work.

They're great. My DH even wanted one so I just placed another order. Got the bumper sticker too.
This was such a great project ya'll took on. Thanks for doing it!
I hear ya about the white Cat.. I like the gray ones with the dark trim. Looks real nice.
I made some Tshirts, gear and postage stamps of a fav pic of mine about a month ago. Under this name: debnes_dfw_tx.
I am going to buy some of your frass happens t-shirts with dark trim. They look great!

:-)
OMG Deb that is awesome too and they are real postage stamps
WOW Deb....love that purple duranta coloring in contrast with the orange of the monarchs!!!
I just realized you can customize different products using the Frass Happens design...duh!!! I like those shirts with different colored trim too. Ah...so many products...which to choose...which to choose...which to choose :o)
I also checked out the postage stamps...awesome. I practiced on some using an Ornythion Swallowtail and another using a Blue-eyed Sailor photos - they looked nice but I did not save them...just wanted to practice and see how they'd look. Might end up customizing a few sheets and donating them to our NABA park for mailings.

Got my bumperstickers today!!!
Am a tad disappointed in the size though...the design area measures 6.5 inches by 2.5 inches. There is a little over 2 inches of white space on each side. Am going to trim that off. Guess that was my fault for not making it longer. It's just so hard to judge using pixels. :o(
The graphic quality is fantastic though!!! ...and once I looked at my bumper that size fits perfectly on it since I already have a small "Cat with Attitude" square sticker on one of the corners.
Again, am really pleased with the design and graphic quality. It looks soooooo cool!!!
A mug is the next thing on my list of things to get :o)
~ Cat
Merry Christmas everyone!
Just ordered a 15-oz. mug and a t-shirt! Whoopee!
Debnes, your postage stamps etc are beautiful. Gorgeous display of colors. Drats! Just this very morning I ordered a roll of 100 stamps from the postal service. Oh well, I'll catch your stamps next go-round.
Martha
OMG, look at what happens in the winter! These are too funny Cat! LOL! I can now adopt a common phrase that my sister uses and add my own touch to it "I look like frass today". I'm not sure she'll get it tho. LOL
Paige, it will be clear to her if you show her the bumper stickers! LOL!
How about the real thing instead? LOL...that will really freak her out since she still refers to my cats as "worms". Well!
LOL! She must be like my sister, never goes outside much, unless it is to the pool. They just don't understand the compulsion of nature that makes you want to be hands on with it. Frass and all!!
That sounds like her! She tried hard recently tho. We went to Tyler for a quick overnight trip and on our way home the next day I talked her into getting some food and having a picnic at Lake Tawakani. (didn't know the lake was like 20 miles off the hwy tho!) After we ate and enjoyed some fresh air we walked down a path to the "famous" spider webs to see what was left. (this was Oct) We were on a mowed path in a open field of low grass but there were...gulp...grasshoppers!! LOL!! She walked right behind me, on my heels, the entire time while I cleared the hoppers out of the way. I got the giggles when I had this mental image of her runnning and screaming back to the car. LOL! We did get to see the webs and the memory is priceless. :)
Paige, are they really spider webs? They look more like the ones from web worms.
Josephine.
Let me get this straight Paige, she walks down this path knowing there is a giant spider web at the end but is squeamish about the grasshoppers!!!!??? ROFLOL!!
My Sis has 25 acres just below Cleburne, doesn't farm it or anything! It would make a georgeous butterfly stop over if I could get some natives going there. They do mow the majority of it, but I will find out where they don't and spread some seeds this year and hope for the best. We don't go down too often now, but since I retire this spring I will probably go a bit more. Her DD & GS lives with her and I would love to get him interested in plants; he is only three and you can't start early enough for that. Maybe get him interested in a little garden of his own like your DS has.
Yes Josephine! Rather than hijack this thread I just started a new one.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/800473/
Sheila, that sounds like a plan! You can't just let that land and 3 yr old imagination go to waste! You've got to get kids interested early or they just won't ever be. I bet that if you were to get some things growing that your sister would really start loving them too. It seems that you just can't enjoy something if you don't experience it personally and "see" it.
