Gail, I must have missed the post on Baby Julia, was she ill? I am glad whatever it was, that she is home now! Babies are such wonderful gifts! I can't wait till our new arrives in February! How is the other sweet baby doing, Diane, the little boy we had last week? This is the new baby BINGO game! LOL

One of my best friends is named Susan Diane...as I was typing this I thought about her because of the two new Grandmother's names! LOL

Have a Blessed Day everyone!

Drumheller, Alberta, Canada(Zone 3a)

Congrats on the new arrival! What a wonder gift for the entire family!
God Bless.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Babies everywhere. Congrats Susan. What a sweet little family.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

This is totally of subject but I was looking at the paper because I wanted lamb for Christmas. I am the only one who would eat it but even with that the prices are out of site. They want $12.00 a pound and I can't really justify paying that much for a piece of meat. Guess I will have to have the same old standby ham or turkey. What are you all having?

Homosassa, FL(Zone 9a)

Congratulations , what a wondefull time far a new life to be born,

Congratulations to all who have won bingo so far

Janet, I thought you were our MIA Bingo winner, until I noticed who was posting... what a silly! :-)

Lou, don't forget to let me know which prize you've chosen!

I think we have a lot of folks needing just one more call... how exciting!! If I wait until after 5 to post, I'm hoping that will give everybody a chance to get online soon after I post the call to check their cards. I actually don't know if there's a "best time" for most people, but yesterday I said I wouldn't post today's call until early evening, so I'll stick with that.

We've had 2 winners so far. I will reserve at least the 6th prize (I'm guessing the seeds will be chosen last, although I don't know for certain) as a "biggest loser" prize. So since more than 3 people might be waiting on the same call, how quickly you post "BINGO!" on this thread could make a difference in whether or not you win a prize. (I know most of you know this, but I think we have a couple of new players this time, so I didn't want misunderstandings.)

If you haven't checked your card against the list of calls lately, please do so. It's easy to miss something!

Good luck to everybody on the last call(s)!

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Good luck to all you guys. I know you must all be getting close to Bingo-ing. I will take Jannich's 15.00 Prize. Lou

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

OK!

Remaining prizes include Kim's gorgeous Victorian Lady crocheted "Kreation," a $15 gift certificate to the winner's favorite nursery, a postage-paid box of AV leaves, and fresh Chirita tamiana seeds. So there's plenty of excitement remaining! :-)

Makshi, at $12 per pound, I'm hoping that's at least the price for some really nice lamb chops... We've still got a cheap turkey in the freezer from Thanksgiving, so we'll enjoy that at some point over the holidays. I offered to take charge of the turkey (since a fiasco several years ago involving a free range bird and a malfunctioning oven, my MIL, who is otherwise a supremely confident cook, is very nervous about roasting a turkey) and figured I'd bring it with me, but I was told to leave mine home and cook this teeny 11 pound one instead! It turned out fine, but I'd never done that small a turkey, so I was a little nervous myself about having it dry out.

Even at that price, I think I'd go ahead and treat myself to a chop or two... lamb chops aren't that big, and since you're the only one eating them, it's not going to cost that much. Think what you'd spend going out to a place like TGIFriday's -- for just a burger and a coke! Thinking about the cost of a dinner out usually makes me more willing to spend money at the grocery store to cook a special meal at home. But I understand about cutting corners, too... and eating meatloaf instead of a lamb chop could let you have a new streptocarpus blooming as a centerpiece, LOL!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Here we go! I hope everybody is ready... :-)

Congratulations to the new Grandma's!

Gail, I am so glad that little Julia is doing so well that she was able to go home from the hospital!

Critter: Very glad too that your mom came through the surgery okay - hope her recovery is speedy!

Ok Ladies ... is everyone checking the list of the calls already made? I bet if we don't have someone else holler Bingo tonight that tomorrow's call will get a few!

Gail: Your Chirita tamiana looks great! I sure hope you will post a pic of her when those blooms open! Great growing ... I hope I am successful with the seeds I sowed of that one!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Lin, I have to finish growing what I have but I can hardly wait for spring and order again. This has been so much fun!

If your seeds fail for some reason, I think (let me count) I have 10 of them and still put about 9 in a shallow 5" pot.

I still can't grow episcias or do a good job of chiritas but I am not giving up on the chiritas.......but I am on the episcias!

So happy you are up and around again. It's a bummer to be sick around the holidays.

(Zone 1)

Thanks Gail ... I think it was just some 24 hour thing, or maybe even something I ate. I am sooo glad it didn't end up being anything more. Yep ... it is no fun being sick during the holidays - been there, done that!

South, TX

Glad you are better. I have had a raging COLD for four days. Today and yesterday, I decided to have a migraine on top of that! Not fun to cough and sneeze with that pain. I hope to wake up much better....

Nice picture! I love those outside, are they potted?

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Hi Susan- Our little baby is doing great, except for a tummy ache today. I had to work late so my daughter was by herself taking care of him so she wouldn't say he's doing great! Welcome to motherhood! LOL

Yes Gail, I was on here late last night and here I am again tonight late! Had to be at work later than usual in the morning because I had the later shift. I am off the next couple of days but have to take my daughter and baby to baby's Dr. appt in the morning.

Nice bloom on the AV call- but not the one I needed!

Drumheller, Alberta, Canada(Zone 3a)

I HAVE BINGO!!!!!!!

CONFIRMED BINGO FOR CCINO42/DAWNA! Congratulations Dawna!

(Zone 1)

I'm heading out for the day, so if another call is made and any of you get Bingo, I will be back later this evening to confirm. Good Luck everyone! I'm not sure what time Criter will be posting today's call but I figure it will probably be late afternoon, early evening like yesterday, when folks are home from work and have time to check their cards!

So Ladies, you have plenty of time to exercise those fingers! Now, one and two and three ... bend those pinkie's, warm up those fingers! Tikka-Tikka-Tappa-Type!

I bet we have a couple of more winners today, now ... who's going to be the fastest to type in that word B I N G O and hit send?

See y'all later!

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

BINGO....BINGO....SHMINGO! I want to know the secret to picking the winning numbers!!!! Congrats to all the WINNERS! Actually everyone on this thread is a winnner in my book!
