I bought a Malanga tuber, a Taro tuber and a Yuca tuber (Is that supposed to be yucca?) from the grocery store today t plant except some of them have a layer of wax.
Will that effect growing them or how do I remove it?
Waxed roots?
The wax will eventually melt off or dissovle on it's own. They just put it on there to keep the cane, tuber, or whatever from drying out. It shouldn't effect the rooting or growing of your tubers.
Bare root roses used to come with wax on the canes and the wax just dissolved in time, and the roses did fine.
