His nickname is "Montedog". He's part flame-point and part (we think) Maine Coon cat. His toes are webbed and Maine Coons are the only ones whose feet are like that. At least, that's what our research has told us.
Happy Holidays
His size is also very "coonish." Don't Siberian cats and Norwegian Forest cats have webbed toes too? The ones I've seen have paws that look almost like snowshoes.
Hmm..have to check those out. I hadnt' realised there were more out here. His feet are really big. They were when he was little. I have apic of him with a quarter next to his front paw and it dwarfs it. (the quarter)
I think you are right, the runts get all the special care because the bigger ones push the little ones away from moma so we the big momas give then more attention ( bottle feeding, holding, petting and on and on ) which makes the into BIG Kitti's that love us more than the others.
Tilly in the card looks like a young kitten, but she is 4 years old, when moma birth her she was one of the bigger kittens, I kept her because she was the only Calio
and I lost her moma to the coyotes.
This is Tilly and Tyler
On whos gona win Or whos gona get thier nose scratch.
I will be working the late nites for awile had a change in managment, hope it dosent last long, spring is coming dont want to be working the swing shift then,
I work in retail as a asst manger, and sometimes its just not fare. LOL
Oh boy! Do I know what you mean about retail! LOL It isn't fair but then I volunteered for this gig! Laughing out loud again, this time at myself!
:) I don't miss retail stress. This will be my first Christmas since I was about 16 that I have not had a secondary retail job for presents. I do miss the money though! Hope you get lots of nice customers and they make it feel like Christmas. That was the good part of retail ;) When you hit your social groove and can feel connected and loved to even the cranky ones.
Cute name, very clever...Cleo Catra. And a pretty baby.
She's cute! I like the name too. (Wish I'd thought of it. LOL)
Look at all the fuzzy babies, ooh, I'd love to kiss all of them!
Tillysrat, I recently began working outside the home again,
otherwise I would have been right here wishing you a Happy
Holiday Season as well!
May you and yours be warm, well fed and happy!
:-) KM
Cleo Catra is very well comfy and at home in the RV ( lets go on a trip... meow!!)
Keep sharing the good wishes, but not just to me to all us DGers, were all a family..
Retail does have its ups and downs been in it for 40 years, its all I know, Love it any other time but the holidays I swear people get mean.
This pic was taken while waiting for the ferry in Edmonds Wash. ( I commute, and have to take a ferry back and forth to work) These birds where all over the place they are swallows of some kind? the pic is kind of blurry. Was fun watching them. and every place on the pole was covered with them and more flying in swarms.
It might be fun watching them do that in Washington, but I live where "The Birds" was filmed, and the sight of too many birds against that familiar skyline is a little creepy even after all these years.
Heres a cute one for all, all my furry babies
Tilly, Rat, Sassy and Corky
