Followed thread on good water for houseplants: seems distilled might help brown tips. Now - what about using water from Brita filter?
Brita water for houseplants: OK?
Filters don't get rid of all the minerals and things in the water which are what cause the brown tips, so while using a filter is probably better than straight out of the tap, distilled is still going to be better.
Rain water or melted snow is best I find. Ever notice after a rain that your outside plants seemed to have grown a TON?! Distilled is good too of coarse!
