Classy rogues!

Fallston, MD(Zone 6b)

"Daisy"

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

In keeping with his co-gnomes, "Shameless" is my vote!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

'Frankie' - reminds me of Sinatra's early poses with those big microphone stands. And he seems to be singing!

Mr. Anhinga was drying off this morning as we crept by......

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Kudrick - I'm very proud....this is an honor indeed! LOL

Van Etten, NY(Zone 5a)

DonnieBrook, you are so lucky to see that whole Ibis Gang just walking down the street.
Here is where I was walking today

Bebop - I know we are very lucky and we do love our walks and see so many interesting things. Whenever I forget to bring my camera, I regret it. Yesterday morning, we saw that osprey up in the Hong Kong Orchid tree again, but this time he had a fish in his claws, and he flew down right over our heads holding the fish like a bomb underneath him. If only I had had the camera! Rats!

Your winter woods scene makes me want to get my snowshoes and join you in the woods to see some little critter tracks. I always loved snowshoeing early in the morning in our woods with all the tracks. Thanks for sharing that with us!! Looks like quite a bit of snow ya got there!!

North Augusta, ON

Since the car is stuck hopelessly in the driveway, I had to walk to the store. Here is the view.

Like the way it came out. Looks 'vintage'!

Snow is hard to get a good picture. It's so white, hard to give an idea of the depth. I have a friend in New Zealand, for her a hard frost is exciting. She likes me sending her pictures of our snow, but it is hard to do!!!

North Augusta, ON

This one turned out kinda nice. We call it the "Shingle Shack". It's in the backyard, I believe it was the original home back in 1845.

Whoa, 3G......that must have been quite a walk!! Both of your photos are very pretty. The dimensions of your shingle shack remind me of the original parts of the first settlers' homes where we are in New Hampshire. There was a set dimension that qualified as a settlement home, and the core part of our 1763 house was very similar to yours before the "ell" was added. Very interesting! How was the walk?

North Augusta, ON

Thank you!!

The walk was difficult, like trudging through soft sand in work boots...lol

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I'm snowblind.LOL

I like the old shack.

North Augusta, ON

Thanks Al. It's kinda in the way, but I don't have the heart to tear it down, keep thinking it could be something some day. It has a good, solid, cement floor and it's own fuse box.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh don't tear it down, ever! it's lovely and quaint and "magical"!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, I would love it. Make it a potting shed / tool shed, etc.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Work on your manifesto?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sure - as long as my brother keeps his trap shut.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I agree, 3G, your shingle shack would make a really cool potting shed!!!

This afternoon's walk along the River found it very "choppy"! The wind chill tonight is supposed to be 30 degrees. Oh My! Check out the Pelican weathervane tilting in the wind on this house........

You can see the wind in this palm tree....

We passed this man and his seven dogs..........reminded me of the movie, "Moonstruck"......

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - pretty gusty!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

That is a blustery day there Pooh.

I'll pass on picking up dropping from 7 dogs.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Boy do I hearya!! Sometimes I see him not do what he's supposed to do in that regard. Not good!

North Augusta, ON

Today, going by the garage next door, they keep this car as a second vehicle, I think he's given up.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - yes I'd agree!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

You're almost as tall as a house apparently ;)
That does look like a setback.

Supposed to be near freezing here this week so I'll be able to get the dog out.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You mean he's frozen stiff somewhere?!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

No - my english is howa you say - notta so goood.

I've got an eye on him, or the other way around.
